Good point on the schedule. Couldn't you argue a weak schedule doesn't make for progress? I got them at 6 or 7 W's.

Bk, who do you have us losing to? i only have the pats twice, jets twice, and on the Road in San Fran.

Week 1 @ NJ Jets (L)
Week 2 KC (W)
Week 3 @ Cle (W)
Week 4 New Eng (L)
Week 5 @ San Fran (L)
Week 6 @ Arz (W)
Week 7 Tenn (W)
Week 8 Bye (-)
Week 9 @ Houston ( This is a crapshoot W)
Week 10 @ New Eng (L)
Week 11 Miami (W)
Week 12 @ Indy (W)
Week 13 Jax (W)
Week 14 STL (W)
Week 15 Seattle (W)
Week 16 @ Dolphins (W)
Week 17 NJ Jets (L) *Might be most important game of year

I see 5 or 6 losses.... but that stretch from week 11-16 needs to have 5 of 6 if not all 6 wins.

Houston's better than Buffalo, and Arizona's not an easy win either.

Until the Bills prove they can win the games they are supposed to win (see: Dolphins games last year), I have a tough time marking many of those games as wins.

Thanks. Parts 2-4 coming soon. I'm in the second of back-to-back masters programs, and I'm currently being flogged by my reading. . . hopefully I'll have them up soon!

They will win the 1st 3. Lose the next 3. TEN beat them last year, thats a toss up. Houston they lose. @ NE, lose. Miami and Indy wins. JAX win. STL loss. Seattle win. @ Miami they always lose. Jets game might be for a playoff spot, toss up.

If I grant that TEN loss it's 7 going into the last game.

The AFC South sucks aside from Houston, The East and West look weak. 9 wins might get a team a WC. If they lose to the Jets week 1 then I think they will win week 17. Jets seem to do well @ RWS though.

Yeah the second half of the year is where the schedule gets easy.

If they have a winning record after week 10 (5-4). Hard to see them not making the playoffs

Call me cynical, but I think they have to be 6-3.

10-6 is the target. If they go 9-7, they will need tiebreakers--which make those Tennessee/Houston games really important.

You just know they are going to screw up on of those "easy" games against Indy/StL/Jax/Dolphins(x2)/Seattle. That's always been the MO of this Bills team.

So basically, I think they HAVE to win one of the NE games, or the SF game. And one of (if not both) the Jets and Cardinals games. They HAVE to come away with victories in games they aren't expected to win. I just don't trust this team yet to close out that schedule the way they should.

Ouch haha, and in the summer even. (Good for you, though. I'm sure the hard work will pay off.)
I'm looking forward to the next couple segments.

Houston wins the South in a landslide.

Meh, they will probably stay out there. Niners(I think) had B2B out East this past year and I think stayed in Cleveland.

Is there an HF boards fantasy football team? If not, would anyone mind or be interested if I put one together?

Houston's a good team--and likely a playoff team--but I don't think they're far and away better than Tennessee. Though they are my favorite right now.

OT: I got a month in between off, so my batteries were recharged. Class 2-3 times a week, about 8-12 hours a week actually in a classroom. The rest of the time is reading and writing.

The next segment is how Gailey works horizontal timing into his scheme (west coast offense concepts). If you go to the upper right side of the sight, there's a link that says "essential BR." There's some basics on offense and defense I wrote a while ago.

And both those games are on grass fields. Buffalo typically doesn't do well on grass fields that aren't in Miami.

Yeah there is, AV18 runs it every year. I'm sure once we get into August or something it'll come back up.

you know we're gonna screw up at least one (if not two) of those games, it's the bills.

Anyway, prediction time:
week 1 Jets (w)
week 2 KC (w)
week 3 Cle (w)
week 4 NE (L)
week 5 SF (L)
week 6 ARZ (w)
week 7 TEN (w)
week 8 bye
week 9 HOU (L)
week 10 NE (L)
week 11 MIA (L)
week 12 IND (W)
week 13 JAX (L)
week 14 STL (w)
week 15 MIA (w)
week 16 NYJ (L)

9-7. Until the bills can be counted on to win games they are supposed to win, they'll keep missing the playoffs
oh oops left out the seahawks, i think we get the win
