I love how "karma" bit Erixon in the butt. He left hockey bed Calgary for the daddy's team just cos he could to only end up being traded to the worst organization in the NHL history.

I'll give this one time before I judge it
From the trade board thread, it has some kind of potential for CBJ but ehh...

Considering Erixon is going to want out as soon as he finds out he got traded to CBJ, I don't see him hitting 40+ points with them (not that he was ever going to with anyone anyway). Then you take into account the trickle-down effect working backwards with Dubinsky and Anisimov, as well as the generally less skilled players those two have to work with now, and I'd say this deal is never going to turn out well for Columbus.
I will give Columbus credit for slowly stacking their blue line over the last year but losing Vorachuk, Jeff Carter and Rick Nash for Brandon Dubinsky and a prospect pool with Cam Atkinson as their best forward prospect is as bad as it gets. As good as Dubinsky is, that's like having Devin Setoguchi as the #1 forward.

What I don't get is how many Jackets' fans are hoping this leads to a trade for Ryan. Yeah, they have several 1st round picks in the bag and some extra defensemen, but last I checked, it'd take a major U-haul to get Ryan. You'd think Anaheim would want a top forward. What on earth does Columbus really have to offer for him?
