"Not a lot of rhetoric" sounds like a "Torts kind of guy"

On Erixon- "He has a lot of potential...I still haven't seen any"

-He's very sad to see Dubi leave. Says he was a pain in the ass when he first came up, but really matured. Dubi was a player who came up everytime a team called.

-Thinks Erixon could be a great player in the league, but hasn't "seen it" from him. Obviously Torts not being big on Tim's game helped the move.

-Kreider was never an option to be traded, as we all knew.

-Good things to say about MDZ. They want to add offense to their blueline, so trading MDZ isn't/wasn't an option. Had a good bounce back year until the final few games, thinks he'll learn from it.

-Prust was "promised things" by FA suitors, which Torts warned him to be wary of. Probably ice time.

This man knows his hockey. Trading DZ would've been a disaster if we don't replace him with a better OFD.

Funny hearing a guy with such a thick Boston accent talking about the Yankees like that.

Doesn't surprise me. I liked Dubinsky, but he was expendable. I hope he does well in Columbus. He should become a popular player there for his willingness to get involved.

The Ichiro trade broke while they were talking so they talked about it a little.

I know, it's just really strange. Hearing "Yankees" in a Boston accent one expects "Suck" to follow it.
