Congratulations @AGally94 now officially a #Hab. To celebrate he spent most of the day at the RBC centre in gym and on the ice!

@AGally94 @Glav75 thanks mark signed on a bench haha

So basically he signed his ELC on the bench while practising.

Very telling about the character of Galchenyuk. Was he called into an office, wearing a suit, sat down in a chair to sign the contract? Nope. If you want to find the guy to sign his ELC, look inside the rink or at the gym.

Just. Beast.

I for one will not be surprised to see Alex as a full time 18 year old regular for the Montreal Canadiens.

He's going to be in the NHL a lot sooner than some people think too.

This guy has "the stuff".

And when he does make the jump, watch out.

When they said "he will do anything and everything in his body to make himself better," they meant it. I have never heard any player, this team and every other team, sign a contract on a bench while practicing. That's just mind-blowing.

So that Galchenyuk can turn up the heat again? This guy is going to tear camp up.

I was discussing him with a scout (at the OHL level) this weekend and he said he was a sure-fire can't miss first-line center with superstar potential... Work ethic is off the charts.

Just further confirmed what I was already seeing.

Awesome news. This guy just has Carl Carmoni-like fire in his eyes. I'm sure he will develop into a first line center

Ya I tend to agree.. i'm not saying it will happen for sure or anything, but I will not be surprised one bit if he makes the bigh club. MB said himself, that its up to Galchenyuk where he's going to play next year.. whether it will be in Sarnia or Montreal. It appears AG has made up his mind and will do anything to achieve it.. GO GALLY GO!

I glanced over this really quickly and read that he has Chris Campoli-like fire in his eyes.

I don't see the PA going for that unless they allow salaries up to 4-5 mil the last 2 years.

Campoli played like he had his ass on fire, so I could see why you would make the mistake.

Good news, but unsurprising. Was just a matter of time. Still love the energy though. And the chirping.

Galchenyuk will be loved in this city.
