Just saw this on the Jet's official site.

Not sure what to think of him as a player. I don't know nearly enough to comment on him skill wise. True north did end up trading for him, so he must have some potential if we resigned him.

was actually suprised he never really got a look up top, I think he was pretty well ingrained as the 4th line C in Anaheim at one point.

I believe he got a look and didn't stick despite being very good at faceoffs. He seems like a poor man's Patrice Cormier.

I imagine he will be playing a defensive role our East. Then again, Albert and Cormier are returning and they held those duties last year

He was. He was doing pretty well too. Solid in the dot. Good penalty killer and he was more effective with the puck than most of our bottom 6 guys. To this day I don't understand why we traded him.
