Going to miss both players. Dubi is a Ranger from head to toe no matter where he plays - he was a big part of redefining what it meant to play for this franchise the past few years and that's greatly appreciated. I'd love to have him back at some point. I'm going to miss seeing him and Cally on the ice together wrecking everyone.

AA was a good solider for the team too, but those sudden flashes of skill got frustrating after a bit. Where is it the rest of the time? Hopefully he can put it all together, but he's a great two way guy and seemed like a solid teammate either way.

Also, can't help but feel for Erixon. Dude clearly wanted to play here.

I know I've hated if our for Dubinsky since his holdout and I just never liked him as a player in general but I feel I must give credit where it's due.

Dubinsky is an absolute wonderful human being. He grew up into a great person and truly bleed for this franchise. The effort he put out there for this team night in and night out was something I will always be greatful for. It's unfortunate the skill was never there to match but the effort was always there.

So while I'm not going to miss him, I do want to thank him for how he worked his ass off for this team. His efforts did not go in vein.

I see more of Callahan and Graves..... Graves is my all time fav Ranger..Dubi had heart, but was nothing to NYR like graves was..I can see the comparison and why you made it.But realitcically,IMO,its apples and oranges man.

Posted this in another thread, but it is better suited here:

One moment I will always remember of Anisimov is this:

We are on the powerplay for a penalty by Jagr, when Anisimov gets a pass from Girardi. He gets hooked by Bourdon, juggles free, shoots, scores and gets hit by a high stick from Kubina. Result:

- A powerplay goal
- 3-0 up against the Flyers in Philly
- Bourdon 2 min. for the hooking call
- Kubina doulbe minor (4 minutes) for the high stick

Giving us a 5-on-3 powerplay that turns to a Callahan goal for the 4-0 lead still in the 1st period. We won the match 5-3, but this was my Anisimov moment for his time with the Rangers.

A year ago, there was a discussion on these boards on whether to give up Dubi a letter. He was the soul to Callahan's heart of the Rangers rebirth.
I am going to have to change my avatar, I thought Arty was the unsung hero of the the pack line, always defensively responsible, showed enticing flashes of skills.
These 2 guys will be missed.

It will take some getting used to not seeing Brandon and Artem out there.

I really do wish them both great success in their careers. Both of them are great guys and I hope they get over this bump without too many tears.

It always sucks when you are part of a winning team then get traded to a disaster. I think they will look to Duby for some leadership and i think he's a great candidate for their future captain.

Gonna miss them both.

See ya Dubes :/ Welcome Nash.

When you watch players for so long it gets hard to let em go when they are part of NYR!

Why do you care how other people take the news? This is a passionate team with a passionate fanbase. If you don't care that's awesome, some ppl get connected to some of these players

Honestly, his cap hit would be the only concern as far as trading for him.

When I look at the line up, I see a single hole, and that's on the third line. Dubinsky is a second liner to me, but I can't help slotting him there and thinking "Holy hell this team is complete."

No ****. This fan base is just as passionate as any other fan base would consider themselves to be.

Everyone has their favorite players and would hate to see them get traded. The difference between building a successful team and being stuck in not being able to get over the hill is separating passion from common sense.

You make this deal everyday of the week (and I was against Nash). Dubinsky is severely overrated by a fan base that lets passion cloud their judgement.

You never going to be able to keep all your players. You build up a good system to eventually package a bunch of those players and get a missing piece. That's all Dubinsky ever was.

I'm finding out that Dubinsky is one of those guys who does nothing but frustrate you when he's on the team, but then he leaves and it's like man, there's a hole there

I am absolutely in love with this trade. At the same time i will miss duby and ani. I don't understand the sentiment that posting 11,000 posts about these players is fine but saying you'll miss them after watching them grow up in front of our eyes is somehow "too attached"
