i like his toughness and i think he'd be a great fit.
I think he would do well in DeBoer's system. Don't know how much the Blues value him, but if they're willing to sell low, Lou should get on that.

Probably exactly the same, as I believe Zubrus is in charge of it.

^ Just be glad it's Euro Techno and not the Macarena or some other outdated pop/dance.

I haven't seen the goal in years, but it was very reminiscent of Staal's game winner in game 7 of the Carolina series in 09 with 30 second left. Only Staal's was an odd man break with whoever it was on his line. I don't think Staal's came from quite as far back either. The Doughty goal in game 2 of the Finals was similar as was a goal by the Rangers late in the 3rd period of game 3 vs them when we were up 3-0. Marty gets a lot of **** when he gives up those goals these days, but those shots have been a weakness of his for his whole career. Some people chalk it up to his style of goaltending. I'll never forget reading the TG blog after game 7 of that Carolina series, and all the comments of ''We need a good butterfly goalie now!''

Is there a reason we wasted a pick on Clermont? Guy has no future playing hockey, and We all knew that when he was drafted... why didnt Lou?

Henrique and the 4th Line scored soo many clutch goals. Imagine the playoffs if we hadnt stumbled upon the 4 of them

AH + the 4th line scored some HUGE ****ing goals. Obviously the 2OT vs FL comes to mind, but the carter goal vs the NYR after blowing the lead and winning game 5 was ****ing huge.

And here's the Kovy 11-12 video:

I'd put Carter's late 3rd period goal in game 5 of the Rangers series almost equal to Elias's late in game 7 vs the Flyers in 2000 ECF, and Jeff Friesen's in game 7 of the 03 ECF vs Ottawa late in the 3rd.

Henrique's goal late in the 3rd in game 4 of the SCF may have prevented us from getting swept. That probably caused them not to sweep us. He's the only guy that scored two different goals against the Kings.

The Fact that Adam Henrique's ECF Goal game vs the NYR makes it such a great moment to remember. If we had won the cup, that would be the goal everyone would remember. Well tbh, if we had one the cup we all know Henrique would of scored the game winner.

We've drafted a lot of goalies who become nothing pretty much. Since Marty only he, and Clemmensen actually mind an impact here.

I might be leaving some out, but we had Mike Dunham who was drafted the same year as Marty. Then in the late 90s, Clemmensen, Ahonen, Damphousse. Marty, and Clemmensen, and Dunham were the only ones that started more than a handful of games. Dunham not much more than a handful. They played Dunham sometimes late in the game, and would pull Marty so Dunham would not become a UFA. He had to play so many games a season. This cost Marty a shutout or two at least also. Damphousse I don't think even started a handful of games, and Ahonen never even sniffed an NHL game. Went from being Albany's starter to Europe where I believe he's still playing.
