that's just 3 teams where they actually played those players together at times in past seasons. there are many other teams that could field all-star first lines but have them spread. Philly, Detroit, LA, Vancouver, San Jose and even Carolina could are capable of creating "all-star" first lines.
There are many teams who could field a line of all stars, but none do. In fact only one of the line you mentioned - Anaheim consistently play together. The other teams all have them broken up
Any rookies expected to make it this year? Is Miller ready? I'd prefer if Boyle or Pyatt were playing on the 4th line and one of Asham/Rupp was in the press box. We're in trouble if they both play 75+ games. I suspect another signing is on the way.
theres nothing that says nash-richards-gaborik (if they are even a line, well im sure they will be in some situations) will be better than straka-nylander-jagr was, in fact im willing to bet they wont be
Are you predicting a lockout or Gabs quick return ?
Perhaps you believe that Gabs would have a blockbuster season with Nash around to feed him the puck?
Well obviously the comparison will only be between games in which they both play.
I do think Nash's acquisition will help Gabby, though. Nash's big body will draw defenders if they're playing together, and if they're on separate lines it'll be harder for opposing coaches to match defense pairings and checkers.
