It was obvious Suter mind was out of Nashville in the information that has been provided that him and Parise were planning on the big hook up for awhile. That tell me Suter was not a great person to be around your cap. To be honest i think Weber will become a better Cap without Suter and possibly an even better player.

Ughhhh! This one really stings. It was thisclose! to having Shea Weber be a Flyer and it wasn't NHL 13 he would have actually been a Flyer. Man that would have been epic, really thought Nashville would pass..... what's plan B?

Better than about 18-20 other teams... and arguably better than last years if Mez is properly back and Schenn should play ok now not in Toronto!

It's okay Beef (when the heck are you getting your name back??), we have Bryz and Leighton to stop pucks. Who needs defense?

I don't understand this at all. They are in a lot of financial trouble to begin with but they haven't done anything bad to us. They were a good trading partner and now that bridge has been burnt. I have no animosity towards them whatsoever.

haha, I'm not sure when I get my name back. It doesn't help that I get a huge kick out of this avatar.

As for your second part, excuse me while I drink a little acid. Not too much, just about 18 gallons or so. Just enough to melt through my pelvis.

Wow. Nashville going to go bankrupt. lol from what I've seen on their board; 27mil is basically a third of their revenue.

This. If he was serious about Philly all he had to do was wait a year. The thing is if he did that it would have probably cost him the chance at a contract over 7 years because of the new CBA. Greed won the day.

Which is exactly why I don't want Homer's response to be to trade assets for a winger. If we have to wait for the D-man, do it.

Besides Enstrom, what does the 2013 UFA d-man list look like?

In an exercise of obedience weighed against temerity, it'll happen when we achieve halcyonic vibes in our collective conscience. Or when Enya records a metal CD. Whichever comes first.
