He has also had the privilege to play with a few hall of fame tenders too.

Clark's not a HoF'er and Roberts won't be one either.
Leetch was great, but it was only 20 games.
Francis was only 20 games too, but he was on his last legs from what I saw.
But the point still stands; he did have a lot of talent around him to help the Leafs win games, to help him produce on the PP and sometimes on his own lines.
He had plenty of help; he was playing on one of the highest paid teams in the league and not the expansion team that Leaf fans describe him playing on.
