Tobias Enstrom/Ron Hainsey potential options for Philly

John Boruk @JohnBorukCSN52s If Evander Kane signs extension with Winnipeg, Tobias Entrom or Ron Hainsey could be trade candidates for the #Flyers.#ExploringAllOptions

i'm slightly confused as to how signing a forward effects the availability of a dman in winnipeg.

because then the money wont be available for an enstrom extension? Doesnt make sense to me.

Trading someone you just picked up as a UFA is an easy way to make your team a non-destination in the future.

Not to mention that it's TERRIBLE for the flyers. Totally tears up their depth and I'm pretty sure that briere has a NTC and has no desire to come to Canada.

It's already been said but this is a sure fire way to ensure that Winnipeg is unable to sign any FA again.....ever.

Bizarre speculation. Cannot see how a Kane extension would effect the back end.

Hainsey?

I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole.

What are the jet's needs?

I don't think the Flyers would be interested in a large player swap like the one in the 2nd post nor do I think the Flyers would be willing to include either Couts or Schenn in any trade.

Personally I would love Enstrom on the Flyers as they have a real need for a pmd. I would be willing to offer Read and a conditional 1st. Is that fair value or am I way off? As I said I really don't know what the Jet's needs are.

With the Kane signing we'd be just barely over the floor. The salary cap isn't a problem.

To be honest I don't see much logic in this speculation.
