I like that he still has "NONE SHALL PASS" on a strap on the back of the mask.

I also don't like it. Very plain and generic, you'd think he could cone up with something better than that.

I'm actually surprised that so many of you like it. I mean, it's not ugly or anything, but it is pretty banal.

It's okay but I liked his old mask better. Prefer goalie mask designs with a white cage instead of a chrome cage. But whatever...it's just a mask.

Looks like the generic mask from the EA NHL games.

Like that he put Ryp on his mask

I like his mask from his first year still though.

Not a fan of it at all. It just looks like typical goalie mask.

It looks plain and generic, but there are a lot of cool little subtle design touches which is kind of cool.

Very nice. Don't like the silver/chrome bars instead of white though. Should get that swapped out asap. Would look so much better with white bars. Also what he seems to be most used to/comfortable with.

It's a little bland and cliche IMO. Guess I agree with Parabola, boring but some nice touches.

I was hoping he'd do a spiderman mask that was green but I guess "Schneiderman" isn't catching on.

Anyone notice how Jonathan Quick has more of a flat pipe on his cage vs Schneider and Luongo having rounded ones? Wonder what the main difference is...

Main difference is the shape of their heads/faces...

NHL goaltenders have custom-molded masks designed to fit their head/face. The cage is a product of what fits on that and stays out of their line of sit best.

That sounds reasonable. Just seems to me that Quick's flat design make cause the puck to stop more than deflect?

Im just a little sad because the goaltenders mask is the best way for a team to make a fashion statement on the ice other than their actually jerseys, and to be so plain and bland just doesn't look good on the whole team. Makes us look boring and like we don't get how to be fashionable or interesting.

I hope he reconsiders before he actually wears it. Go with something more flashy, more colours, a more unique design.

There are some amazing designs around the league, I know Cory is a quiet and laid back guy but at least put a little flair on there.

I mean enough with the stupid orca whale that ship has sailed.

I think his mask should have a wicked cool pirate ship on it. Pirate ships are sweet.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic, haha, but Cam Ward has pirates on his mask. It's awesome.

Cam Ward has always had cool masks.

The best one he's ever had though, was that tribute to Potvin or whatever that was. That was awesome.

Its summertime in vancouver .... I could be golfing, hiking or checking out ladies on the beach ....

just a sec .... I would rather:

GMMG did something bold ... he should have signed Parise Weber and Suter for Mason Raymond, Ballard and Luongo for cap hits of $4M/yr ... whoa that mask isn't bold enough!

I still liked the Curt Ridley mask, but that's just me.

I was hoping he was going to copy this mask onto a full helmet. Luongo tried to copy it, but the rusty look along with the design didn't look great.
