Not to mention, that was probably a major turning point of the season.
I was referring to the game at the X but that one in Winnipeg was pretty great too. I still maintain it wasn't Bogo's fault but it was a really unfortunate event. The game at the X last year really emphasized how much the Wild and Jets need to be in the same division/conference. Best Wild game I've ever been to IMO.

Fargo is a sad, sad place. My next door neighbor is from there (I'm in St. Paul, if that isn't evident already). He even said he would never go back.

Still, it is growing at a pretty healthy pace, I understand. There are some good companies there.

And, they do have the Force and UND Sioux.

Meh

Fargo isn't so bad. There are worse places to live. The thing I like about it is that you are only 45 minutes away from the lakes if you live there. I'm an outdoor person though.

I went to Fargo once and ended up in jail. Needless to say I haven't been back.

Fargo is NDSU territorry, so those people do not root for UND in *ANYTHING*.

The Fargo Force is a good night out tho. Seats on the glass are pretty darn cheap.

I had just turned 18 and was visiting some friends who went to NDSU. We went to a party that got busted by just about every cop in Fargo, like they literally surrounded the house. I acted like an a**hole and kept asking them why their entire police force didn't have anything better to do on a Friday night. Apparently they didn't like that because they cuffed me, drove me to the station, the whole nine yards. When I got to the jail, I tried to pay my bail in Taco John's bucks (which they never gave back ). In summary, I was an idiot in high school.

1. Who the hell holds a party 9-yards from a popo station?
2. Why the whole force got there is pretty self-explanatory

Am I missing something here?

Sounds like you got a visit from the "Party Patrol" an infamous squad that literally has nothing better to do than go around busting up people's good times. It's just about the only way Fargo cops get their kicks.

That and pulling people over for no reason at all. Seriously, I got pulled over because supposedly this cop was able to see a crack in my windshield at 3 in the morning. Yeah right. My bet is he pulled me over because my car looks like a total piece of **** and he thought he would get lucky and get to haul some druggie or drunk to jail.

Fargo cops are just terrible. Thats part of the reason I will never allow myself to have a Fargo address.

The Fargo police station is a fair distance away from NDSU, and there are no really good college housing units in that area, so I really doubt the party was that close to the Fargo station.

They've built a couple apartment buildings in the last couple years. The new 'college' units are in 'downtown'. Don't understand why because they are by the river 5 miles away.

Sorry, the whole nine yards is an expression, I'm pretty sure the police station was more than nine yards away.

It was absolutely ridiculous, they even had cops on bikes outside of the house. I'm assuming that was in case people tried running away.

You are right. But isn't NDSU either DII or III in pretty much everything for sports? Their hockey team I am almost certain isn't DI. I reckoned that pretty much any hockey fan in ND would root for the Sioux since they are national champs so many times and are a perennial DI powerhouse.

Even for hockey they root against them. They are DI.

They don't have a hockey team, its a club team.

NDSU is in D1 in everything now. Finished their transition a couple years ago.

In football they are in the Football Championship Subdivision, previously known as Division 1-AA.

And they won the championship this past season.

I wished I could care, cause it looked like a lot of fun.

Its surprising how much people really didn't care when they did.
