What do Janne Lahti and Petri Matikainen have in common? Both are represented in the KHL by Vladimir Gudacek. Seems his qualifications aren't top notch. Though it's not like there's much options, there's not that many KHL licensed agents and the only non-Russians are Gudacek and Vladimir Vujtek.

Interesting that they announce it four days after he has been on Almetievsk's books.

oh yeah, Zhiroux was cut by Traktor as well. (technically waived. can he play in VHL if no one picks him up or his contract is severed?)

He is russian oligarch. Also, he was Putin's sparring partner for judo . Additionally, his nephew, Roman Rotenberg is a vice president of SKA.

О - объединенный (technically they merged the HC Dynamo and HC MVD) and called it united hockey club Dynamo, but everyone knew that for farce.

Not bad, if the refs don't kill them they will be a major player in the KHL.

Petri Matikainen has said in Finnish papers that he's contract with IFK has been annulled and that he's free to join Omsk as soon as the clubs agree on a fee. Conflicting reports that IFK want ONE MILLION DOLLARS but also that 400K euro has been agreed. IFK surprisingly deny all of this.

Every IFK fan is crying out of joy in Jatkoaika. 400k is an ok sum, pretty much the same as TPS got from Suikkanen two years ago AFAIK. While I understand HIFK fans 'cause Matikainen wasn't succesful with a dream team last year, and now they got rid of him and even got payed for it, they still have to find another coach. Summanen? Also, "Petu" had draged lots of his kind of players to IFK before he left, so is that material really good enough for anything other than "ajokoirakiekko"?

Euro coaches aren't as sought after in the NHL. And coaches contracts differ from player contracts. And no, there won't be a change to NHL transfer sums, players hold all the cards.
