So Shane Doan is related to both Carey Price and Corey Perry?

I wonder if Doan's religion makes him appealing to the very Christian Sharks's brass...

I would think it would, don't you? If you are interviewing for a job ideally you'd want to have mgt have the same values and principles as you.

Can you expand on this please? What religious affiliation does the Sharks' brass have? What religious affiliation does Doan have?

From what I've heard Doan is Christian.
I hope religous affiliation doesn't affect personnel choices.

I could have mis-interpreted the TSN article but I thought it was this week for his visit to Montreal. Maybe it is next week...

Well, I forgot that Jamison had left. He is a very strong Christian, and he intervened in SJ either trading for or signing Curtis Brown because of it. I remember an article mentioning his faith as well as the faith of others on the SVSE. Circa 2006. Jamison mentioned his admiration for DW's faith as well, so I assume DW is religious.
BTW, you can be Christian and be pro-gay or pro-choice or whatever.

generally speaking, christians (or most religious people in a free religion country) usually will admit they are christians (or whatever religion) when asked. it's usually agnostics/atheists that hew to the "it's personal\don't want to discuss it" line.

The CEO of the company I work for is a very strict christian and as great a guy as he is, I would never tell him I am an atheist.
