Welcome! It's nice to see another Ontario-based fan!
yeah I remember riding the subway once a year/two years to the ACC to see a Hawks/Leafs game. Every stop seemed to have one or two guys in Hawks jerseys get on. We would always immediately make eye contact, nod, then look away.
I've read the site for a long time and I've lurked on the boards (without registering) intermittently the past few years, reading the discussions, plenty of good posters on the boards I've seen. I've posted on a few threads already.
Originally from Chicago, always been a Hawk fan, back in the Chicago area now. Hockey is the only sport that always keeps me interested.

Welcome HockeyDoug...I was like you...I lurked here forever then joined. Don't let the bickering fool you...the regulars (incl. the mods) here are all incredibly nice!

Where did you live when you weren't in Chicago?
Up and down the East coast for quite a few years.
I'm not worried about the bickering, seems normal enough.
I've been lurking around here as a guest for quite a few years now, so please excuse me when it looks like I know what I'm talking about.
Looking forward to contributing more after just reading around for so long.
Go Hawks.
Quality name. I like you already.
(and good on you for joining after lurking for a couple of years - i did exactly the same...and once i joined i have to say that the ppl on this board were very gracious (compared to the main board).
Whats going on fella's. Started watching attending Lightning games in 09-10 season.
When they (Bolts) missed the playoffs my money was on Chicago without knowing anything about them. Watched almost every Hawk playoff game and was blown away at how fast and physical the team was, and loved watching Byfuglien on the ice, and Q staches intensity.
In the past 2 seasons have been to a Blackhawks I have been to both games that the Hawks visited Tampa. Chicago is a huge reason I fell in love with hockey.
lurked round here some time, now finally registered. I'm 24 years old and from hanover, germany. I became fan, I must admit, when the hawks drafted Kane, so Kaner is still my favourite player. I'm looking forward to good debates!

Lets get one thing out of the way. For or against Kruger? Every thread here, even if it's about another team making a move, will eventually be a debate over Kruger.
Name is Evan. I am 25 i live in seattle and despise the canucks. I am huge whl fan and go to as many games as possible. I am also a huge blackhawks fan since i was a wee lil lad. I have played hockey for about 20 years with some junior level being my highest, now i am beer league point racking specialist, and troll forums heckling other people who dont like the blackhawks

You can change your name once a year. Maybe do that to fix it?
