Zherdev, Anshakov and Red Army whoes...

Not 'hos, whoes. You know, troubles. Not that 'hos ain't troubling.

Seems that Zherdev has flown the coop on his Red Army "obligation"...

Does Anshakov have the same problems and was this another reason to ship him east? Man, every time I hear something else about this trade the Penguins are getting hosed. I really hate to see a storied franchise like them in decline. Makes ya kinda feel dirty slickying guys down on their luck. OK maybe not dirty , but I have gotten a twinge of conscience or two.

If you travel to the "dark side" and read my article/interview with Al Murray, you will hear much praise about Anshakov, and there was certainly no mention of any military obligations.

Quite interesting Tub, I would've got there eventually but the link is appreciated. The team that never played together, the best Kings team I've ever rooted for. Someday, someday. I guess I'm a resident optimist.

not being a spelling police or anything, but "whoes" is actually "woes".

also, anshakov still looks legit to me. obviously penguins musta been wanting him pretty bad if a cash strapped team was willing to pay half straka's salary for him.
