Nick Tselios (1st round pick by Carolina) Great Slapshot. Cool down to earth guy. Played with some guys from the BCHL. And a few guys from ECHL.

Grew up with Joe Sova (ECHL)

Back when I was doing a P.G year in 2003, I played aggainst;

Keith Yandle: Cushing Academy

Corey Schnider: Philips Andover

Jonathan Quick - Avon Old Farms (he only played 13 games that year, and we were an avg team so he got in)

But easily the most talented player we faced that year, was Chris Bourque of Cushing Academy, same team as Yandle. At that time he was an absolute beast on the ice. To bad he was only 5'8

Probably the pride of Mimico Ontario, Brendan Shanahan when I was a kid.

My claim to fame is once beating future NHLer, Rick Tabaracci, for a best goalie award back when we were kids.

Also recall playing against a few other future NHLers, such as Andrew Cassells, Glen Featherstone and Keith Osborne. There are others, but their names escape me. Should look at the draft classes of 86, 87 and 88 to jog my memory.

played recently against paul byron(flames) in a mens league game, we were winning 6-1 , after a small fight between both our teams, we proceeded to lose the game 7-6, byron had 6 goals in like 10 minutes.

I've skated with Rick DiPietro at an open session, but he wasn't wearing pads and was skating out, so it hardly counts. Grew up with Tim Kunes who is playing overseas now.

Ex-WHL guys and a lot of junior players out here. Jannik Hansen was dropping in and playing this spring league against us, so that was a handful to say the least.

Lots of good NCAA guys come and play in the summer as well before heading back.

Taylor Pyatt, Patrick Sharp and Alex Auld (scored on him haha) all on the same bantam team were guys I played against. Aaron MacKenzie and Jason Jaspers were also on the team and had cups of coffee with Colorado and Phoenix respectively. Unreal team.

NHL wise I played Inline with and against Iain Duncan of the Jets. Also quite a few ECHL guys but the most famous would have to be this guy who was our travel inline teams back up goalie. We never believed him when he said he was a pro but hockey db proved he was. How could we have ever doubted him.

Against, then with Mark Hardy. He was terrific. Played road hockey against Richard Mulhern for years. You did not block Richard's shot, especially if the tennis ball was wet or stripped of hair. I was too young to get on the ice with him unless it was shinny at the local outdoor rink.

Blake Wheeler when he was Sophomore at Breck 02-03

JT Wyman when he was a Junior at Blake 02-03

And countless other players that went on to play college hockey.

Our league here in the middle east has some pretty good players.

One guy on my team played juniors with Gaborik, Marcel Hossa, and Tomas Kopecky.

I know one guys played minor pro in the E, another played Div 2 in Finland. Im sure there are quite a few other guys that have played very high level in their respective countries.

I've done a sticks and pucks session in which Artem Anisimov and Matt Moulson was working out with one of my Ukrainian friends who was his skating coach. Not really playing against them but I was sharing ice with them and I got to see how good NHL'ers really are.... wow.

Play/played with and against a bunch of CHLers, the best would have to be in no order:
- Chase DeLeo (Portaland WHL)
Kids hands are just unreal, and when he goes full gear, good luck catching him.
-Bo Horvat (London OHL)
Like DeLeo really fast if he gets full stride, and hurts like hell if he gets a good hit on you.
-Aaron Ekblad (Barrie OHL)
It's impossible to get by him, and I don't recommend blocking his shot.
-Spencer Martin (Steelheads OHL)
If he wasn't a goalie he could probably still play at least AA hockey.

Few others but I'll stick to them. But the very best players I've ever played against has to be Max Pacioretty last summer when he came to a local arena for shinny, and Vincent Damphouse at the rink last year too. Damphouse wasn't even trying and undressed everyone.
