Well that's the problem, the maybe over his head+ whatever maybe is included in that second rounder (conveniently in 2014) doesn't make up for Ryan's guaranteed production value.

Yeah i know just threw some stuff out there as a starting point. That would be a realistic starting point. As long as Johansen/atkinson/murray arent apart of the deal im ok with it.

I don't know that I do Brassard, Jenner, 1st.. Jenner has been awesome since being drafted. It would be one thing if the jackets had a lot of young forward talent, but it is all on d right now.

Ryan is worth that, and more most likely, but I personally wouldn't move the kid.

Tor: B Ryan

Ana: Mac, Bozak, blacker and 2nd

The Ducks get a second line C and a point producing winger as well as a solid all round prospect.

I think if there is a deal to be made between Anaheim and Torornto, it will be for Kessel.

Ana: Kessel
Tor: Cogliano, Koivu, Karlsson and a 2nd.

A fast winger who scored 46 points as a 20 yr old rookie, a 2C that has put up 75 points before, a future #2C and a pick.

Our D is full, switch Phillips to Greening and I think it's pretty good value.

Cogliano
Bonino
Welinski
2nd

for

Kessel

What is this? After reading all this trash the last few pages, someone comes in, makes a proposal, gets turned down, makes another proposal, and starts an actual discussion?

I would prefer one of Philly's centers. I dont really know who else would make the Ducks better that we could get. Too bad Philly is being stubborn and trying to get Ryan without giving up one of them.

I don't think anyone will deal with Philly without getting one of their centers just for the fact that they have two young centers and Briere AND Giroux. Everyone knows they could easily trade one and be fine. I think the fact that they wont is going to turn off a lot of teams. Especially when trading for a better player.

i know its from eklund but he's usually good with flyers stuff
"The Flyers are going to not let this go. If I was asked to name the one player I have heard the team has wanted since the day he was drafted it would be Bobby Ryan. And with the departures of Jagr and JvR the stage is set to make a deal. The Ducks want a second line center for Ryan, but I keep hearing a rumor that the Flyers made offers considered "close enough to get this done" as recently as a few days prior to Shea Weber offer sheet. I would say the chances Bobby Ryan is moved to Philly grows by the day right now. "

I really don't think so. We've heard nothing regarding Ryan since early July, and I don't believe their chances of getting Ryan are increasing each day.

Murray is just waiting for the right offer, and in all likelihood, he won't get one he likes this offseason.

Apparently Ek thinks Philly fans are just as gullible as Toronto fans.

For all the garbage Eklund puts out there, he is legitimately in tune with the Flyers. He has sources there. Real ones.

We just got Luke so that basically rules out Brayden being shipped out and Homer values Couturier right under Giroux so that's why he isn't getting involved in any deal either. I think the only center we'd be giving up right now would be Matt Read.

So Flyers are trading Schenn/Couterier to Anaheim then?

Unless BM becomes a ***** this should rule out Philly then given his demands previously.

the way i read it no since he said but the flyers after he mentioned the second line center thing, maybe its centered around jake and a guy who can play center like read, or laughton who has 2nd line center potential, plus picks and probably a d guy like mab or gus, but then again who knows
