He's getting very good coaching. That coach can turn below average player to very good, squeeze all offensive potential from a player. This might be very good decision for angelo.
If the Leafs didn't have so many contracts I would have for sure wanted us to try and sign him to a 2 way deal and see where that goes, very low risk, possibly high reward.

I agree with this part, the second part not so much. Some players, even first round picks, are just destined to fail in the NHL.
I remember when he was drafted and some people on here were acting like Pittsburgh essentially got the first overall pick in the draft.

I remember this draft - this kid was hyped with a capital 'H'. I thought for sure he was a top 10 pick, if not top 5. People screamed when he dropped, but it looks like pro scouts do know what they are doing. I learned something from this case.
Now when I see a player like Gigorenko fall I no longer say 'steal of the draft', I say 'where there is smoke, there is fire'.
I think the writing was on the wall by his sophomore season in the Q...he just seemed to get worse every year after his rookie season, and of course the injuries certainly didn't help.

Ya really, he's not bad. Amazing in junior that's for sure. Luckily he has Logan McMillan the pick in front of him to cover up for it : #biggerbust, and a moose
For those who care... Esposito was released by his SM-liiga team Pelicans Lahti a week ago and then signed by an Italian club, Hockey Milano Rossoblu right after.
You actually don't, you need to do like a decade of schooling.
Actually, it's four years for undergrad, four for med school, and anywhere from 3-7 years for internship/residency/fellowship. If a student goes all the way through in the minimum amount of time, it's 11-15 years until the "schooling" ends and "practice" begins.
I remember when he was drafted by Pittsburgh, I figured he'd be their next great star. Shame things didn't work out for him in the NHL.

Exhibit A as to how hockey doesn't matter on ESPN:
Last night an ESPN program was discussing how the Detroit Pistons needed a hero citing the heroes on the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and no mention of the Detroit Red Wings. All this despite the Red Wings probably being the most succesful team in Detroit right now.

or just go outside of North America and get it done in a third of the time!!! which seems to be happening more and more now.

29 games, 3+4=7 -4, 10 min. (PIM), 12.26 min. (average TOI)
It may be worth noting that Milan is the Italian team planning on joining the KHL for 2013-14. They even wear the KHL crest on their jerseys currently. Perhaps Esposito will stick around long enough to join them in the KHL.

The guy got kicked out from the second to last team in FEL. 7 points in 29 games... Face it - He isn`t good enough to play in FEL or any other major European league. Austria next?
