In other news, Javier Baez is still killing the ball. Last 10 games hitting .386, including 2 0-4 games, 1.187 OPS, 3 HRs, 3 doubles, 3 triples, and 4 SBs.
Only issue is the guy can't take a walk to save his life.
I mean, when you hit everything, it's not a big deal.

If it were even AA, I'd be a little more ok with it, but he's only in A ball. He is on pace for about ~20-25 BBs, 130 Ks, over 600 ABs. Also on pace for 30+ bombs and 60+ SBs as well.
Well, Vitters is playing well at 3B in AAA. I wonder if say he was pretty good over a cup of coffee this year, and shoots to open with the big club next year... If they'd consider moving Baez to a corner OF role.

It's not like Vitters has an impact anything. Baez is an impact bat and consensus one of the best offensive prospects in baseball right now. Vitters won't stop him if he is at 3rd.

True, and still no lock that Vitters ever does anything to play everyday in the bigs. Just was thinking that it is doubtful that we'll have 3 OF prospects that all pan out to be everyday regulars, and we do have another guy who is capable of manning 3B. Part of me says this because Jackson looks like **** this year.

Baez should be our third baseman of the future. Theo has targeted OFs with Almora and Soler. If Vitters pans out somehow, we trade him or move to OF when Baez comes up.
So the Sox want to gut their MLB roster to get Greinke. This is just dumb. I don't see a situation here where Gavin Floyd, Addison Reed, Alexi Ramirez, and Dayan Viciedo are still White Sox if they get Greinke.

they can trade floyd and reed for sure. Ramirez would open up way too big a hole though and Viciedo has been pretty good this season and is still only 23.
Floyd and Reed are each very expendable. I'm not at all calling Alexi or Tank "untouchable", but both are guys I see with the club a very long time and not worth including for a rental.

Viciedo isn't really that good. I wouldn't hesitate to give him up for Grienke

It seems like the Brewers are absolutely dead set on getting a short stop for Greinke though, not to mention, you're competing with the Rangers, Braves, and Angels in this. All three of those teams have good prospect pools for a Greinke deal.
