Thread got closed. The guy changed the video on me, but it was the video stating how the Flyers were over-confident against NJ. He wasn't claiming he was going to walk all over NJ, but that maybe the team somehow thought that and they were wrong and should have done things differently. :|

Pretty poor evidence for saying Roo is smug.

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said Crosby was unavailable for comment.

I wonder what he would have said.

hahah! great reasoning; why you don't like them? - because I don't like them.

He's allowed to not like people without being called a "d-bag" for it. I've played against teams I hated. Does that make me a bad guy too?

He didn't have to get into his rationale for why.

In HS football there were teams we hated as well as players we hated, that's normal. It's also normal to call him a d-bag when you're on the opposing team/a member of the opposing teams fan base.

We also don't have to get into our rationale as to why.

Sure, you don't have to do so, the onus on "I don't like them" is much smaller than "That guy is a d-bag." One is a preference. The other carries condemnation and moral character judgment.

If it is just a fan being a fan, or a player being a player, whatever, I don't really care.

You may think this is clever, but it isn't. Neither is a case of whining. So, your claim that Sid is whining is still hokey.

Pens fans will respond we're wrong because 2 wrongs don't make a right.

And for the record I don't see either as a whine either. More like stating facts.

At least Crosby is being honest. That series might have been the most entertaining playoff series I've seen in a while.

If it makes you guys feel any better, I live with a Penguins fan. Not very pleasant sometimes.

Although, the playoff series was very enjoyable for me. The upset, drunk Penguins fan.

I don't care about penguins fans. At all. Infact I would welcome their franchise being relocated to the middle of Alaska for all I care.

Emotionally, yea... as far as good hockey, that was the Caps/Rangers match... that was awesome.

It is always a mystery to me why Pens fans feel a need to defend Crosby, it only makes things worse. Who gives a **** if Pens fans want to call G a whiner?

I could careless what any Pens fan ever has to say, if you follow the Flyers like most of us do, we get an idea of G's personality, he is crazy competitive even on a golf course in July when asked about hockey, who doesn't know Flyers/Pens is probably one of the most heated rivalries in the NHL, so yeah there is probably some truth to what Roo is saying about his wrist, I don't have a problem with Crosby doing that it's hockey, it's just when it happens to him, he knows he's protected by the NHL and doesn't take his licks like a man, but I guess that's the difference between the two franchises, we also would never tank to get higher picks, but hey I don't have a problem with Roo saying that or Crosby doing it
