Man you guys are all perverts.

But yeah, yesterday when I was in mindblowing pain all I had to tell myself was "We got Suter AND Parise!" and I swear to God that it worked better than the morphine did.

But the difference is that we KNEW Parise would be coming home. They can only wish for Semin to land in their laps.

It still feels a bit surreal that we were able to land these two guys, I guess it won't really feel like it happened until the games actually start.

I found it very funny how, even though everyone thought something about Semin smelled a bit funny back when Parise was on the market, everyone's had Semin on the tips of their tongues the past few weeks.

Everyone seemed so hesitant about Semin. As much of a bad rap that he gets, I'm surprised he wasn't scooped up earlier. Granted, it sounds like it was self-inflicted with his reportedly steep asking price. Even for only a year, I would have been surprised to see him get the same salary, much less get a raise (as small as it might be). We'll see after this season I suppose. He might not get another $7mil.

Okay the blatant puns were dumb, but "scooped up" was hilarious.

And If Carolina doesn't like what they got, they can easily slide him onto another team at the deadline.

Last night I had another "holy crap we got Suter AND Parise" moment. I think I got so numb to the thing because of defending the attacks, but wow...

I too get that sort of thing often when I go to bed or do something that doesn't involve too much concentration.

Your gf/wife doesn't get disturbed at all when you scream Zach's and Ryan's names in bed?

I was reading a Rangers thread dated July 3rd/4th and I find it awesome how most fans wanted Parise and Suter coming to Minnesota. lol Granted, a big time reason was they hate the Devils but so many even talked about how we deserved a great break like that. It was fun reading their comments pulling for us while the Devils fans were spitting blood. lol

Do you have the link. I think I might like to read that. It was nice to see people favor us, though. Fun times ahead.

Start on that page. ^ It's kind of scattered here and there (keeping skimming the posts) and clearly, many Rangers fans were pulling for us.

I think that Minnesota was simply the best Suter for Parise, that's why he came here.

I mean, he probably expected to be playing against a Capital Semin sometime during the playoffs and didn't want to lose again so close to finishing, so he left.

Who would have thunk that if he would have stayed, it would have been possible to meet up against a Semin Hurricane in the playoffs? Nobody. If Semin would have gotten on that dotted line just a few days earlier, I would imagine that Parise would have stayed in New Jersey.

/iTried?
