Since when the Wild was a team that seemed to be lost and going nowhere?

WTF with some ignorant comments in that thread? Gotta think that's a proof people didn't care about the Wild before this year.

EDIT: And Yeo is a mediocre coach!? Unbelievable.

OMG, I can't handle that guy now.

"What has Yeo proven?" It was his first ****ing season as NHL head coach.

EDIT: And Yeo is a nobody apparently.

I love how the Wild are constantly accused of being a "cheap" organization. Yeah, we're a small spender like NYR and Philly.

I thought about that response, it's the most easily translatable way to describe. But it does fall a bit flat because most people think that's everything rather than just the culmination of the journey.

I think some people don't realize it was his first NHL head coach experience last season.

Heh, the Wild were at the top of the league for 2 months till injuries happened. Such a mediocre head coach.

But it's "unsustainable!" I'm still astonished by that Calder Cup run by that team. I knew it was bad, but look at those stats. Two 20 goal scorers, 3 players with 50 points. That's just marginally better than last year's Wild team in a league that (I believe) is quite a bit higher scoring.

C'mon, the X still has a SD scoreboard! And no practice facility! If that's not a cheap organization, nothing is.

(No seriously, if people still say that after spending $200 million on two free agents and are at the cap they'll say it regardless.)

The guy was saying "it's strange the Wild offered any contracts like that because they're such a cheap organization." Never mind spending right to the cap 4 of the last 5 years...

Will Parise and Suter be booed or cheered or neither?

Oh look, another Parise (Pari$e for Devils fans)/Suter thread.

I don't care either way.

If their fans are anything like their online contingent here on HF they are probably going to throw things at him on the ice. I suspect their overall fan base is more rational though. I expect scattered boos.

*edit* I am refering to New Jersey fans. Nashville fans have been much more thoughful and rational.

I am have been searching for a bit on youtube but can't find a vid for the DAT Pass thread in the main boards.

http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh...1238491&page=3

I can't remember if it was Havlat to Lats or the other way around a couple years ago. Either way it was an awesome pass and if anyone remembers and can find it you should post it in that thread. I love great passes probably more than awesome goals

Honest to god I still have yet to see any NSH fan bash Suter or the Wild on the main board. Maybe it's just because they're not a real huge fan base here on HF, I don't know. NJ fans on the other hand. . . . . .
