hughes pitched good. it could have been worse. he's a guy thats not going to put hitters away easily and is going to give up the long ball. that's just who he is. sometimes he grinds through it like today and other times not so much.

Um, for the record many, many, many Yankees fans hate Kay, Sterling and Waldman. They're all absolutely AWFUL. Best Yankees broadcast I've heard in the last decade was a road game that Kaat and Singleton did together. I miss Kitty.

Mets fans, please ignore Michael Kay like many of us Yankees fans do. He's an idiot.

What he said was unprofessional. I can't possibly imagine Sam Rosen saying that he wishes that the Devils or Islanders lose every single game. Kay should have just brushed off the tweets/criticism from Mets fans, his reaction was immature and hypersensitive.

Michael Kay is awful. Last year he criticized the Reds because their logo looks too much like the Chicago Bears logo. It's not like the Reds had the logo for well over 50 years before them. Jackass. Apparently it's also bush league to say "Vote Reds" on the field. I can't possibly understand how anyone could like the guy. Well, unless you're a deaf Yankee fan.

Out of all the various broadcasters the Yankees have, nothing is worse than Lou when he makes his appearances.

Bring back Kaat. O'Neill is awesome. I like Leiter a lot too. Flaherty and Cone are good. Sweet Lou is old school i like it.

Can't stand Kay. I think Singleton puts you to sleep. He has stupid phrases like "Look Out!" when a pitch almost hits or does hit a batter.

Sterling and Waldman dont bother me.

I had a little radio where I worked at my summer job last year and I'd listen to a bunch of baseball games. As I was closing up one day, Waldman was droning on about some power outage that affected her home. I turned the radio off and the next day when I came in and put on the Yankee game, she was still talking about the same ******* power outage.

Waldman is just terribad.

I think they dont bother me because I dont listen to them much. Sterling has a good voice for the radio, however, what he actually says is up for debate.

Win the game or tie the game - that depends on how many runs you are down and how many are on the base. Either way it's a high leverage situation.

all im saying is that have to improve with runners in scoring position. their offense is too good to be struggling like they are now in those situations. thats a main reason why they lost in the playoffs last year against the tigers especially that game 5.

Oh I completely agree. It is going to be an extremely tough road in the playoffs if you can't come up with clutch hits no matter what the score or situation is. You could be down 5-0 or up 5-0, it all adds up at the end of the game to either a win or a loss. You're going to see good pitching in the playoffs, you need to capitalize when you have the chance to. Can't rely on the long ball all the time.
