Finally I can vote! For the 3rd poll in a row sticking with Hackett people! He may not be an elite goalie, but the line between elite and just good is a fine line, and I think he'll definitely at least be very good!

Depends when you check. Gap was 9 a couple hours ago, but only 3 more recently than that. It's 6 as I post this.

When I voted it was 25-20 Zucker... it stretched out to 30-20, then closed back to the current 31-24.

Going with Hackett until he's off the ballot.

Funny thing is we are so deep, case could be made for guys like Bulmer and Zucker who have already played some games at the NHL level to be much much higher.
Great time to be a Minny fan....Best !

I like Zucker. I think he'll end up like Chris Kunitz, as a guy who fits in as a top 6 or 9 winger. He can shift roles to be a defensive guy or an offensive guy depending on what is asked of him.

Went Phillips, like I said last time, I can't rate goalies so I won't be voting Hackett in any of the polls although I expect him gone soon. Zucker v Phillips is a tough matchup as many people here have likely seen more of Zucker in the NCAA. Count me in with the few that hold ZP in very high regard though. I have been very down on Hubereau and think that ZP played a much larger role in his draft position than most, good player but he has had a lot of help and his flashy game will be far less effective in the NHL IMO.

People are down on Phillips from last years scrimms when he tried those fancy moves like he was playing with JH but he has taken a lot of big steps to play a smarter game and in terms of hockey sense I would only rank him behind Granlund and Brodin in our pool and likely top 15 in league wide prospects. Criminally underrated and I personally think will be considered the biggest piece in the Burns trade 5 years from now whether or not he is on the Wild team.

Logging on during a semi-vacation to make sure Zucker wins.

Call me crazy, but any skater prospect who even has the slightest shot at being an NHL regular is going to get my vote long before a goaltender prospect. Top 6, bottom 6; doesn't matter. For that to change, it'd have to be a very special goalie. And Hackett's not at that level.

At least I'm not the only one not comfortable about rating goalies. That's not to say I don't like Hackett, I do, a lot, but...

I thought Bulmer was going to get a little more love...

I agree, value plays into alot when I rate prospects. We have three good goalie prospects but so does countless of other teams, their value isn't that high.

disagree, how many of the teams who won the cup had a goalie come up huge time and time again, how many teams that had stacked offense's came up short because of Mr. Sieve in the net?

you need a solid goalie, you can't just over power the other team, Hackattack is a solid goalie prospect, who's shown his chops last year, he played very well except for late in the year when the whole team hung his ass out to dry.

to me he can be a 70+ game starter and be a top 15 goalie in the NHL, we will need that if we hope to go anywhere.

I can't rank a goalie this high because, outside of looking at their stat sheet, there is no way for me to tell the difference between them. I can watch skaters in person and on video and get an idea of how good they are and can be...but trying to judge a goalie is a whole different animal. The system and team playing in front of them also figures in to how successful they will be as well.
