There are 5 forwards up for the next 5 spots IMO. Don't see any of the defensemen breaking into this pack, this seems like a pretty solid group of wingers here.

R. Smith
Fraser
Ritchie
Guptill
Glennie

How I'd rank them, personally.

I've got Bystrom just after this group as well, too.
Thinking about this, I suppose Stransky could fit in as well. I'd probably have him at 6th, though, but he's just after Bystrom, so my list looks like:

R. Smith
Fraser
Ritchie
Guptill
Glennie
Bystrom
Stransky

I'm still unsure of why people are putting Glennie so high up in many of their rankings.

Not yet. He's disappointed a lot but the potential is still there to be a lot better than a 2nd round pick. And we've invested so much time into him it'd be pointless flipping him for a pick.

Glennie does have the better combination of potential and readiness of all that are left except maybe Fraser. Hard to compare the goal numbers though when one is more of a goal scorer and the other a playmaker. Both players are a wash right now, IMO. I could see either one as better right now.

Then there's Smith who needs a season in the AHL, which Glennie has already had one. Arguably he should be one spot ahead since Eakin played 30 games last season and probably shouldn't even be considered a prospect anymore. The difference between the two is Eakin has a slightly lower ceiling while being slightly more NHL-ready.

Do you know that your team is going to have an early 2nd round pick? The Stars recently thought that getting the Kings 2nd was a much better deal than it turned out to be.

I'm voting Bystrom next, and I'm surprised he isn't getting more attention. In two years he could easily be our best prospect.

Wish I could comment on him, I don't know hardly anything about him though. I try to only comment on the players I've seen a ton of.
