Im going With tony camareensi. The little I saw his speed was excellent but his skills was sometimes coming up and then disappearing along. Sort of like lambo I guess. Basing it on skill Ofc. However I really like Rupert as well

Didn't realize Carrick had a following, seems like a nothing prospect to me. Yeah he scored at a ppg for Brampton, but it was his 4th OHL season. Connor Brown is alot more interesting to me at the moment.

Can the people voting Loov explain there reasoning a bit? I like the guy too, but the draft JUST happened and he was taken a full two rounds AFTER guys like Rupert/Brown. Doesn't that automatically rank him lower than at least those two?

Before someone shouts Datsyuk at me, I obviously understand that draft pedigree doesn't mean much when looking at how players develop 5/10 years after the fact. But I can't see how much has changed since the 2012 draft...

Nope, just means he was available longer, and that was because he was listed like, half a foot shorter than he actually is, not because he's that much worse than the other prospects. The Leafs coaching staff at the rookie camp called him a standout in a scrimmage that involved Rielly, Percy, and all the other defensemen ranked higher than him. That might not be much to go on, but it's a helluva a lot more than the other guys we have at this point in the rankings.

atm yea brown is a guy I really like as well. I wonder if he will get a chance to play with Mcdavid and thrive there.

He was impressive at the rookie camp, probably the 3rd best defender behind Rielly and Percy. And yes I do realize Finn was there.

I'm not saying Loov is better, I'm saying he performed better.

Edit:

#29 Connor Brown
#30 Victor Loov

We're at 29 in terms of prospect depth. I think all these guys probably qualify for the 'nothing prospect' tag.

Because Bergman says so...

For years now To. has been fishing euro defenseman out late in the draft.Kaberle,Markov,Gunner,Granberg,Nilsson and now Loov. Just because he fell through doesn't mean he won't play in the NHL. At this point it is a guessing game but don't be surprised if in 5 years Loov comes over to debut.
