Imagine the speeches ? You can hear the start, read War and Peace, watch the 10 Commandments, break 4 of them and catch the end of the speech.

Much as I liked him as a Hab (I always wear 29 in any sport bcz of him), he has all the charisma of a dead fish. I can't see him winning - mind you we have Mr. Lego-hair helmet as a PM so I guess anything's possible.

I had the same feeling for a while, but then I realised something.

He helped to win the cup for us. He didn't do that for Toronto, so he's still good.

I always thought he was a Habs double agent. Who would suspect Ken Dryden? Perfect plan.

Sadly for his party, and potentially this country, those other jokers aren't much better. That's one of the most pathetic pools of "leadership" talent I've ever seen. Yikes, here's hoping for a Conservative majority if that's all the Liberals can come up with.

p.s. Ninot, good call

I like the man very much and think he was a great cabinet minister, but he is not leadership material, as nice and incredibly smart as he is the fact is that he makes Harper looks exciting. He will make a great senior minister in the next Liberal government.

Of the whole field only Gerard Kennedy really stands out to me, he's young, untainted by the past Liberal scandels, has a background of a social progressive and is a good speaker.

Why do we even care...any Franco in his right mind knows the Liberal party accumulates votes by bashing Quebec and Quebecers thus showing the rest of Canada that only they can govern the country...Just look who represents Quebec in any cabinet they formed......

Hockey and politics don't mix...sorry Ken!
