Kershaw. A Ranger fan obviously trolling our board.

Cousins and it's not close. He has me really excited.

Manning next then Hovinen probably.

I voted Hovinen.

He is almost on the level of a seasoned Vet already with all the games already played in one of the best European Pro-Leagues and most important he's a product of the Minnesota scouting system and not some random Flyers late round goalie pick

Comparable to Anders Lindbäck.

If I had to chose a forward it would have been Cousins by a mile.

I will agree that Manning looked good in his brief stint in the NHL (4 or 5 games i think) but I don't understand why people are so high on him. I've seen him play at the AHL level several times and I don't think he'll be any better then MAB. Bourdon looked real good in his first stretch of games at the NHL level too. Maybe I'm just negative but I'm not sold on him just yet.

Noebels is becoming overrated IMO. He hasn't shown the offensive ability to become a top six forward in the NHL.

Theres a reason why he was put on a line with Rattie and Bartesi. He isnt a small forward with high offensive skillset. He plays like a Wayne Simmonds type of play. Simmonds also didnt have high offensive ability in the OHL. He's a big guy that will play two way hockey, clear space for the smaller guys on his line, and score some goals and set up players.

Brendan Ranford showed the "offensive ability" in the WHL and doesnt even have a contract.

What?

Simmonds best year in juniors was a 1.32 ppg. Noebels never hit a ppg in juniors.

What does Ranford have to do with anything. The Flyers drafted Mathers over Hyka. Does that make Mathers the better talent?

I chose Manning considering he could jump in easily as our #6, but Cousins might be better in the long run I guess? Manning and Cousins I think could easily interchange between #2 and #3.

Did u take the teammatea of simmonds into consideration? Noebels played on the worse (or one of) in the whole whl. The reason i brought up ranford is that u are saying gettig alot of points in juniors means ur a top 6 player which is 100% false.

I didn't say that. There are plenty of players that score at the juniors that don't pan out. The problem is that there are even more that fail to score in juniors that don't pan out. Many 3rd and 4th liners in the NHL were much better scorers in juniors as Noebels.
