Ya but that doesn't really matter does it... KA is 99% coming back... Chance he doesn't but it's an unlikely one.

Why wouldn't Abeltshauser be in the AHL in the Sharks system? Clearly he has mastered the QMJHL.

He hasn't "mastered" the Q, and he could use the extra year being one of the best defenders in the league to fine tune his game.

Well the offensive numbers suggest he has. I guess defensively it's a different story?

To be honest I think KA has pretty much mastered the q game so to speak. That doesn't mean another season won't be good for his development though. San Jose seem to think him playing 25 min a night being one of the leaders on a mem cup hopefully team will be a better development path than getting 3rd pairing minutes in the AHL. There is some logic too it.

Moncton takes.. Ivan Barbashev with the #1 pick. Hes a Russian sniper who outscored both Drouin and MacKinnon at the under-17 tournament. He will be a 17 year old rookie next season..

Lots of great talent coming the Q's way so far... Barbashev, Reway, Veliky and lots more to come!

Remparts took Nikita Kucherov. Kid tore up the MHL this year. Highly unlikely to report even if Grigs makes the Sabres

Looks like Cam won't make a selection.

I am quite pleased with the Gatineau Olympiques' selection, Martin Reway.

Halifax has a shot at the Memorial cup, I think that's why he's back.

If Grigorenko comes back, what happens? And Jaskin says hello Although he is an incredible player, it's a little premature to call him the best. I know it was sortof a joke but still, I could name 4 or 5 better than him.

Barbashev will be good but I don't think he'll have the same impact at 16-17 than Kucherov and Jaskin at 19.

I'd rather have Kucherov than the entire Moosehead team
