Value of Brian Lee (to Minnesota)

My suggestion.

MIN Clayton Stoner and Tyler Cuma.

TBL Brian Lee and 2nd round pick.

Lee is better than both those players and I wouldn't trade a 2nd for either. We also have no need for either player as well.

No offence but you could use some grit that Stoner brings, he isnt bad as a physical shutdown D that keeps youn own end clean and will fight anyone.

And Cuma is still young and has potential, we just have new good D prospects coming in, i would like him to get a shot somewhere.

No offense but we dont want nor need them especially at the cost of a 2nd round pick.

Brian Lee is at worst equal to Stoner value wise. There is no way Cuma is worth a 2nd round pick.

I would take a 3rd, but you have to ask.

Stoner>Lee.

That said I wouldn't want to part with a 2nd in that deal.

We brought in Crombeen for grit, we also have Aullie who's a bigger physical stay at home D who may make the team. We have Gudas in the system who's also a similar player. We have our own D prospects who'll be making an impact soon so Cuma has no need.

I don't think it has to do with any Lee-love, just that it's a pretty terrible deal overall.

Stoner is a different skillset, but is better overall.

Lee is Lee... toolbox is there, but I don't know if he'll ever put all the tools in it.
