Ballard to the Oilers, absolutely. Not the type of defender they need.
Raymond I think could find a spot, but the "value" was supposed to be our first. Pick, cap dumps, two players who may not find a fit on the Canucks. I should probably have dropped a
Why not let Hemsky play. At worst his value goes up and the team can get more for trading him or just keep him, according to HF he is literally useless.
Same with Gagner. Hopefully playing with 2 of Hall, Eberle, Yakupov, Smyth, Hemsky will help him increasing his value or you just keep him.
Klefbom isnt even developed so why trade him at his lowest value.
Whitney is damaged goods.
Pretty much what i wrote for Hemsky applies to everyone. No one will offer us upgrades on these players and as a group the value goes down so whats the point?
If the Oilers move Gagner they will need another center slotted in, I never said Stajan would take Gagners spot, you could promote Horcoff and use Stajan on the 3rd.
At any rate. I could see the Flames having interest in Gagner. I don't know what they would want though.
Start with Brodie maybe?
Horcoff isn't a second line center either. He's been awful in that role. No deal from Edmonton. The only way Gagner is traded is if its in a package for a phyiscal 2nd line center or a top pair defender. And not Bouwmeester, so don't go there.

If Raymond isn't good enough for the Canucks top 6, how is he good enough for the Oilers top 6?
Is Whitney any good at all? What would it take for the blues to land him?
Until about the 50 game mark last year it was tough to watch. His mobility had been so restricted that he was almost completely ineffective. But by game 50 or so he was at least able to move reasonably well again and his play picked up. By the last month of the season he was ok, though not what he had been prior to his last surgery and his high ankle sprain.
It makes almost no sense for the Oilers to trade him now as his value would be severely depressed. He seems to be a leader in the room and appears to love playing in Edmonton, so if after finally being able to train his game comes back at all I think he would be easy to resign. If his injury woes return, he might be done.
Yet all would play significant roles on your team.
They don't play a significant role on the most woeful team in the league, hence the 3 years in a row 1st overall pick (which I think is the saddest thing ever) and why Oilers fans want these guys traded as fast as possible.
They are insignificant in the leagues crappiest team, what in hell makes you think they would be significant in any other team?

Come on man... get serious!
So much wrong with this post. So much. Most Oilers fans don`t want these guys "traded as fast as possible".
Gagner - plays a signigicant role on the Oilers. 2nd line center, still improving.
Hemsky - hasn't because of injury, but will this year
Whitney - plays a significant role when his foot isn't acting up. 2nd pair guy even when struggling.
Klefbom - one of the best defense prospects in the world
