Lot of my faith comes from the organisations ability to´manage the prospects the right way, you can bust great talent easy.

It would be naive for us to think that all of our top-9 prospects will be who we think they'll be. Odds are, a couple of them won't be able to stick with the Wild (or any other NHL team), that's just the way it goes. I think, with the way our team is constructed, that if we hit on 5 or 6 of them, we should be in very good shape. We just have to hope that they are the right ones.

It's also a matter of degrees. For example, Granlund might not quite live up to the hype, but Larsson could give us more than expected. Coyle may disappoint (or bust) but Bulmer might even be better than advertised. Hell, Lucia could come out of (relative) obscurity and be a 1st line winger. A lot of different things could happen.

Louie Nanne becomes the highest scoring player in franchise history and his number is the first one retired...

That's about as ridiculous as a team retiring the #1 for its fans before they play a single game.

Just for me i have no issue with Zucker, I personally have him on 6 on my own rankings and love this kid, but Hackett should be higher and I still go with him no question.

I know, right? I mean, what team could fathom doing *that*... Cheap ploy. Most goalies want that number... duh...

The reason I ask is everytime I read your posts, I hear Lapanta's voice in my head saying your words....it's driving me freakin' bananas!!!
Yes, I won't be able to switch it til' October 4th. I went with three months. I've got "big" plans for August 4th though, don't worry.

And it's either you thinking I'm Lapanta or Avder thinking I'm Billy Mays. Personally, I like Billy Mays better.

Photoshop that guy. Put a clown nose and a rainbow wig on him or something.

Hell, a rainbow wig would probably look better than the actual rug he wears.

Went with Bulmer here, but it was really tough with Phillips and Hackett. I went with Bulmer over Phillips based on Bulmer's advantage in pro experience and showing that he can play the pro game. I think as far as Hackett it is really tough to judge or project a goalie as young as Hackett.

I think Bulmer is going to be a force this year and him filling out his frame will go a long way to help his game this season.

Glad the North Stars didn't do that. What number would Kari Takko have worn then?
