Bulin had to be dealt to CBJ last year when he was hot and Mason was cold. That was our one chance to move him and we failed to convince ourselves or Howson to make the deal.

There's no upside to Khabi for a rebuilding team. Trading for him would be a fireable offense.

I don't know, he's pretty successful at generating first over all picks. History will remember Khabibulin as the man who rebuilt the Blackhawks and Oilers.

Columbus didnt know what the heck they were doing last season. They spent a bunch of money in the off season.

The Oilers signed Khabi at the start of there rebuild and it work out great. Without him we probably dont have the three #1 picks.

They weren't rebuilding in October/November, they had to make the playoffs last year and Howson did nothing to try fix what was a blatant weakness for the past couple years.
