Jets/Bomber double header

Looks like the Winnipeg Jets have changed the Puck Drop time to accommodate those who wish to go to both the Jets and the Bombers on the same day...Way to go True North!
I did this last year and it was a freaking Blast....

Puck drop on Oct.13th vs the Hurricanes is now @ 1:00
The Bomber game is still at 6:00

Gonna be crappy attendance for the Bomber game unless TSN allows them to change the gametime.

With the CBA not looking good I would not worry too much about Jets games in early October

Won't happen. TSN has another CFL game after the Bomber game.

Since the jets rule this town now the bombers need to change their start time
Personally i dont care, as i will be watching the Jets game... But i know there people that have tickets to both, and it isnt fair to them

There will be a lot of Jets tickets up for grabs for that game.

Think people will sell Jets tickets to watch a 2 or 3 win Bomber team?

They could move the start time to 6 pm, which would be following the Sask-Edm game. I guess it would depend on what kind of programming TSN had originally scheduled in that time slot.

I think there will be plenty of bomber tickets going on sale from ticket holders.

I'd rather watch the Jets than the Bombers 100 times out of 100. I like the Bombers and all but football is second string to hockey for me.

Go Jets Go!

Especially for the Jets season opener. It may not be against a huge opponent (Boston, NYR, Mtl, Tor, etc.), but it's still a division rival.

The Bombers will always play second fiddle to the Jets. The NHL is for the best of the best. The CFL is a recreation league that supplies it's best players to the NFL. Easy choice for me, lol.

They have NASCAR, so the Bomber game is not movable.

Its no joke (re:lol), although many a 'blue believer' will debate the merits of the CFL until they are blue in the face.

I love the Bombers too, but the CFL just doesn't come close to the stature and quality of the NHL, so its the Jets for me. The CFL should move the game, but it won't.

But its really a moot argument, since there won't be an opening NHL game that day...

Showing my age here. I don't know about now, but in years past, it seemed that almost every Grey Cup game had a tearful farewell to some guy going off to the NFL. Peter Liske's last CFL game, Warren Moon's last CFL game, etc, etc.

I'll personally be watching the football game. Only 18 Bomber games compared to 82 Jets games. Factoring in playoff implications and the Jets game only being the start of the season makes it a no-brainer.

Plus, Bomber games are funner anyway. Many an hour lost per game in the Rum Hut.

I will never watch another CFL game ever!!

Actually, never may be a stretch. I will wanna check out the new stadium and will probably sit through a Bomber game to do so. Until then, I will continue to turn down free tickets.

NFL and NHL are all I need.

In 100 yrs of Grey Cups you came up with 2 players. name another??? EXACTLY!

i'd take a Bombers game over a Jets game if i was in Winnipeg. It has alot to do with the fact i can see NHL here anytime and an outdoor game is always more fun. As long as its not too cold.

I had a choice of both and I chose the bomber game. I thought blue would be in the heat of a playoff race.... Hopefully that will still happen
