I can't vote, but if I could definitely Phillips the potential top 6 center with tons of skills and upside over the clutterbuck clone.

Bulmer, I think he's more versatile. I like his future in the NHL better than Phillips who I still believe is awfully limited if his skating stays fairly close to the way it is right now, despite his terrific hands.

Bulmer.

I'm really really positive and hopeful about Phillips, but I believe Bulmer has a serious chance to become that Burrows type player.

When we get to choose between Phillips and Bulmer for our 8th best prospect... Yeah I like our pool.

I believe that Bulmer is far more likely to succeed in that role than Coyle from what I've seen. However, I wouldn't generalize that assumption to all the Bulmer voters, or even that majority of them.

Phillips. I'll take a guy that has a chance for top 6 over a guaranteed grinder.

I wouldn't be so quick to eliminate the possibility Bulmer can fill a second line role nicely.

i think its just folks balancing potential vrs probability of making it. Most probably feel that Bulmer will be an NHLer one day, even if its as a third liner. Phillips seems to be pure boom or bust. I voted for Bulmer but find Phillips to be an incredibly interesting prospect.

Phillips as our 8th or 9th prospect (in MN HF board's opinion) is outstanding. If your gonna have a boom/bust prospect its nice to have them so deep on the list. I wonder where management 'ranks' him.

Who would you guys compare Phillips to in the NHL right now?

In a perfect world, Bulmer becomes a hybrid of Corey Perry and Alex Burrows (- the *****ing and whining, of course). If that ends up being the case, he'll probably be my favorite Wild player.

Phillips should be higher in the list, he is as sure third liner as the rest, i would allways pick the one that is intelligent and has work ethic to succeed.

I also expect Bussieres to rise by next year in this list.

Not a huge fan of Bulmer, he seems to not be very strong on the puck and sometimeseven looks lackadaisical. Wasn't overly impressed by him when i watched him at the scrimmages in July. I think Phillips will become a better player, he definately has play making ability, and according to the coaching staff his speed/agility which he lacked in the past is starting to get better.

I wouldn't put much into the scrimmages, even though I though Bulmer looked pretty good there.

Not a word I would ever associate with Bullmer...the kid works extremely hard.

I also think fans are making WAY too much of what they saw in the scrimmages.

Definately, something about him still rubs me the wrong way. I hope he makes me look stupid and becomes an effective big for the Wild in the years to come.....

I'm perfectly aware that those scrimmages aren't necessarily a good place to assess a players talent. I still stand by my opinion.
