I really like Huselius, and hope he makes a comeback this season. But I have to agree, I think his NHL career might be over.

I can't see him getting more than a tryout from any team, at this point. Too many major injuries, and no one has seen him play since the most recent groin pull. Can't risk guaranteed money when he might not be the same player.

So to make it into next season he has to recover and get cleared to play before camps start, get a tryout from someone, and impress in camp enough to earn a roster spot. If he can't do that, then it's off to play in Sweden.

He is.

I don't want him anywhere near our team.

Huselius games centers around vision, puck poise and good passing. The injuries shouldn't have that big of an impact on either of those things and a healthy Huselius should still be a 45-55 point winger. Ability is not the concern, but being as injury prone as he is he's not going to be anyone's first option. Huselius will have to wait until Doan and Kostitsyn are off the market to get the most money he can get.

30-40 point guy now. One of the most inconsistent players you'd ever see. One night he's Gretzky, the next night he's a nobody.
