Spiderman 3...................My god.

I went to go see that movie with a friend I hadn't seen in a long time. Was horrified at how terrible it was, and then came home to watch Chris Drury score with 7 seconds left and then we lost in OT.

Possibly the worst day of my entire life.

I used to know people like that. There's a reason we don't talk anymore.

But honestly, it's an excellent trilogy. Second only to Lord of the Rings IMO.

You mean second to the Bourne Trilogy (well, scratch that in exactly a week).

If/when I have a kid I always said I would start him here, http://www.mfyha.com/Default.asp?sni...&org=mfyha.com . They pump out so many good players.

If your kid is just starting up though and you're not sure if he'll like it, I would absolutely look into him playing here.

I current play Midgets here because it's cheap as hell and they don't care if I miss games for my school team. A whole season is like $200, the rink is right off the Westside highway. Good people throughout the organization.

Never saw any of them, but I heard they're awesome. I'm interested to see how Jeremy Renner performs though. He was awesome in the Town.

LotR movie trilogy undermines Tolkien's narrative structure, in my opinion.

He was a million times better in The Hurt Locker.

You seem to have forgotten Joel Schumacher's Batman.

It's OK, people are prone to blocking it from their memory.

I'd say the original Star Wars trilogy ranks first, then LotR. As far as best movie I've ever seen, it has to be Saving Private Ryan. Greatest movie ever made in my eyes.

I'd love to send him to MFF but it is really too far away for us. They also just merged with CT Yankees so the future of that team is unknown. Lot of politics going on from what I have been hearing.

Wow I'm surprised I never heard of Riverbank? What league do they play in?

Right now I've been considering putting him to the Bayonne Rangers program or to Icehouse in Hackensack. Both supposedly do a great job with the youngsters.

I just got the Bourne Trilogy last night. Man I love that series!

I couldn't believe there is a new one without Matt Damon coming out, but after seeing the preview it might be decent since it's supposed to be about another operative who is working at the same time as I think the 2nd Bourne.

(Battlefield is the bees knees.)
Like someone said earlier, it's definitely one of the most unique games ever made. It's a combination of crime scene detection, witness interrogation, fighting, shootouts, and car chases with an insanely complex storyline near the end. The game uses real actors so it's incredibly lifelike. You really have to pay close attention to every detail near the beginning to understand the ending though (Which is why I'm replaying from the start)

I would highly recommend it -- but if your looking for a fast action game, this is not for you. It has a slow pace and requires you to use thinking and deduction to solve the crimes and put together the giant conspiracy near the end. (Which has a sick twist, by the way)

You should try it out -- can't go wrong for $15 bucks

We have had an OT thread on our boards forever... It's great. But there's obviously a ton of talk about the city of buffalo and surrounding areas, and while my family is from there and I frequent the area (and know the roads, bars, rinks et al), I was born and raised in Rockland.

I NEED THIS, MODS!!!!

Sublime is indeed in my top 3 bands of all time. Yes, I'm that obsessed. Saw bud and Eric play with Rome three times already...different band but cool to see them in person.

Nope... I saw the one with Katie Holmes and didn't see the ones after. That was the only one I'd seen since Jack Nicholson was the Joker iirc.

Pardon the ignorance here, but you get paid to go to college???? Is this some kind of special thing 'cos you are some kind of genius, or is it a pretty common thing? And is that $19000 per year, over the course of the degree or what?

Scholarships. Usually go to underprivileged kids or kids with great grades.

They don't have scholarships in Australia, or are you misunderstanding what he's saying? If he is talking about scholarships, that is what I assume he's talking about at least.

My understanding of scholarships over here (and I've never had one) is that they pay for tuition and maybe a bit towards text books. As such you don't actually receive any money, you just don't have to hand any out. That may be what he was talking about and I've just interpreted wrong.

In most cases (including this one) scholarships are credit. So he said he's getting 19,000 USD or credit per year towards the cost of school.

In some extreme cases, you can actually make money off of this.
