We're assuming they all play 82 games?

Eberle- 35 goals/80 points
Hall- 35 goals/75 points
RNH- 25 goals/75 points
Yakupov- 25 goals/50 points
Gagner- 20 goals/50 points
Hemsky- 15 goals/50 points
Smyth- 15 goals/35 points
Horcoff- 13 goals/35 points
Belanger- 13 goals/35 points
Jones- 10 goals/25 points
Eager- 5 goals/15 points
Petrell- 5 goals/10 points
Hordichuk- 2 goals/5 points

Whitney- 7 goals/35 points
Petry- 5 goals/35 points
J. Schultz- 10 goals/30 points
Smid- 2 goals/20 points
N. Schultz- 1 goal/15 points
Peckham- 1 goal/10 points
Sutton- 1 goal/10 points

I can't pin point guys like Paajarvi, Hartikainen or Lander.

That comes to 245 goals. There will be injuries and we're likely not hitting that number.

-

This thread makes me realize that we're a month into free agency and outside of signing 2 rookies, Tambellini has done nothing. Where are the trades we were told were going to happen? Isn't this around the time that GM's stop picking up their phone and start taking holidays? Is Yakupov, Schultz, Hall/Eberle/RNH's natural progression and Krueger really going to make us THAT much better? Apparently it was all Tom Renney's fault...

Ladislav Smid-20 points

I'm feeling really optimistic putting up those numbers. If the team puts up those stats they are definitely a playoff team unless they completely crap the bed defensively.

L. Smid - 4G 10A 14P
N. Schultz - 2G 10A 12P
A. Sutton - 3G 7A 10P

257 Goals

We're going to be a run and gun team this year even more than last year with Krueger coaching. I'd expect to be top 5 in goals and bottom 10 in goals against so fighting for a playoff spot.

81 - RNH
80 - Eberle
73 - Hall
64 - Hemsky
53 - Yakupov
52 - Gagner
50 - Paajarvii
33 - Smyth
28 - Horcoff
27 - Hartikainen
20 - Belanger
17 - Jones
12 - Lander
11 - Eager
6 - Pettrell
5 - VandeVelde
4 - Hordichuk

38 - Whitney
28 - J.Schultz
16 - N.Schultz
15 - Smid
12 - Potter
6 - Peckham
5 - Sutton
4 - Teubert

Potter, Eager and some other spare parts traded. The veterans take a further step into the background points-wise. This doesn't take injuries into consideration, so I expect a number of players to miss these numbers but if guys are healthy I'm optimistic that they can achieve these point totals. They're gonna light it up.

One of the highest scoring teams (hopefully)

I haven't even read the rest of the thread, and I'm sure people have been saying it would be crazy for x player to get x point/goals etc.

What i'd like to point out is that if every goal got 2 assists (which won't happen) your point totals exceed that for goals. (ie. goals x 3 is less than your total points, which is impossible.) So either one's coming down or the other is going up.

To be a playoff team we need to increase our 5v5 scoring. We need about 230 goals for, which would mean 600 points. That would put you in the 6-8 range. People saying 250+ that would mean about 650 total points for the players and would put you in the top 5 for the conference.

Believe it or not, our goals against last year wasn't as bad as our goals for as a team stat, and the reason was lack of 5 on 5 and secondary scoring.

This is assuming that everyone plays 82 games...and since that won't happen just subtract 30 goals at the end.

Hall 37-35-72
Eberle 34-44-78
RNH 21-47-68
Gagner 14-33-47
Hemsky 18-44-62
Smyth 16-19-35
Yakupov 21-20-41
Horcoff 9-18-27
Jones 15-12-27
Petrell 4-2-6
Belanger 10-20-30
Eager 4-5-9
Hordichuk 0-2-2

Whitney 12-31-42
Smid 1-3-4
Petry 5-28-33
NSchultz 0-5-5
JSchultz 8-20-28
Sutton 2-2-4
Peckham 0-3-3

No idea what to expect from MPS.

230 goals, assuming a fully healthy lineup with good progression from the young players and injury recovery for Whitney and Hemsky, which probably won't happen haha.
