These are our three best pitchers. Will be a good preview for how we'd fare in a playoff series.

Either way, I love this team and I'm still basically counting down to 81-82 wins haha

Yeah, I agree, and I don't mean to suggest that we should be overconfident or anything. But tonight's start typifies how dumbfounding the idea going around from various writers that management isn't all in is. We get to start a road series on the road with Wandy Rodriguez instead of Correia. That's an improvement.

In fact, given the pitching matchups, the Pirates should really be going all out to take this series in anticipation of facing Cueto later in the season. This weekend is a big opportunity. I like pushing Bedard back, simply because he can use the extra rest and it keeps AJ on normal rest.

Snider i think you can put anywhere in the lineup.
Meh. I gotta say, I'm really lukewarm on Snider. It seems like he's getting an awful lot of benefit of the doubt for a guy who has little to no track record in the Majors, whose last team basically gave up on him.

I still think it's a really odd move to take a flier on a guy and hope that he figures it out in the middle of a playoff chase. You can justify it by saying that we have nothing better, but only as long as that holds true. If Snider doesn't impress and Tabata stays strong in AAA, I hope they don't hesitate to sit Snider down.

True, I just loathe the Reds and their fans.

tabata is hitting .310 In AAA now but any capable major leaguer would. I think you're making an assumption on Snider far too early. He was brought here to be played every day.

Holy ****, according to DK the Indians wanted Cole or Taillon, a top ten prospect, and a third piece for Choo.

What? He's 3-9 so far for us. How in god's name can you make such a blanket statement about him based on two games where he's gone 3-9?

He's looked fine. Certainly better than Presley has recently.

That is ****ing painful. That pitcher couldn't throw a strike if his life depended on it and we gave him outs.

Can't believe Scott Rolen is still a everyday player. Seems like he has been around forever..

Nice. We will take that double play. Now we need to make this pitcher throw strikes. Stop swinging at every ****ing pitch.
