He almost died, his friend did. He was kept in a coma because of injuries suffered..

http://www.tauntongazette.com/news/r...n-car-accident

Still he is playing in this level, must have affected atleast a season of development, no wonder he seems so mature and sometimes serious.

I will buy his jersey if he makes it.

You know, the Wild board has to be one of the most sarcastic boards around.

Do you guys even know how good Gustafsson is? He's one of the best goalies in the SEL at just 20 years old, he helped win the WJC gold for Sweden. Do you guys realize you have a top end goalie prospect in Johan Gustafsson? I get that you all like Phillips better, but it's not that much of a stretch for someone to give Gustafsson a vote for #9 prospect.

This my first time visiting the Minnesota Wild section, probably won't be visiting much in the future, so just wanna say you have a really bright future with a lot of high end prospects, should be fun and interesting to watch Minnesota the next few seasons, I sure will be following them a lot more. Best of luck to your organisation.

Sorry I messed up your poll

I absolutely love when some people take things so seriously on a hockey forum.

Does he clearly project to a role? Not really, but that's because he is a tweener in style is all. Lots of players don't fit into a slot all neat a perfect yet still end up getting the proper NHL roles defined as they progress.

I'll worry about where he'd slot in when the time comes. Right now I'm just impressed with his development thus far... no longer just some random 7th rounder that we know we'd never see. He has a legit chance of actually becoming a player for the Wild now.
Spot on Talon and totally right about Haula, who I will be voting for next. To me how far he's come is truly amazing, and i'll save most of the reasons for why I have Haula top 10 till the next thread, but I love what you said here.

As for 9, obviously Phillips, I worry about his ability to stick in the NHL, but no arguiing with his skill and if the kid does stick, he will stick in a top 6 role, and the fact he is nine again is so awesome, put him in the Sheppard/Gillies days and he'd be clear #1.

I went Phillips but my next vote is Haula. I've been a huge Haula supporter since he was drafted by the Wild, i'm happy to finally see all his hardwork and get some recognition.

If Gustafsson doesen't enter our top 10 prospect list, then we're either incredibly stacked with talent or just incredibly stupid..!

Kampfer > Lucia > Bussieres > Cuma > Seeler > Graovac > Haula

I decided I'm not voting for goalies in this. Amazing how this year's 2nd round pick can be so far out of the top 10 even though most people seem to be positive about him.
