Better pain threshold.

Volleyball kicks ass. Its so much more fun to watch (and play) than basketball/baseball/soccer/tennis and other dumb sports.

Destinee Hooker is a great name too.

Canada has 7 medals, meanwhile Russia has 25. Does that mean that Canadian athletes have no heart and are very lazy?

Beach Volleyball is horrible though. Fun to watch the women's, but not for the actual sport.

Regular volleyball is great though.

Totally agree. Indoor volleyball is where it's at. They should show it way more.

Meanwhile, Serena just destroyed Maria Sharapova for the gold. I was hoping for a better match.

Reading the USA-Lithuania basketball game recap. Almost lost it.

Still can't figure out why some players on this squad think that the 2012 is a better edition than the 1992. The 1992 real dream team was stacked, even on the bench. And they had the best player that ever played the game. Not even comparable.

I'd say that LeBron, Kobe (he's playing like shlit right now, though), Durant, MAYBE Anthony...the rest wouldn't even have made the 1992 squad.

Oh, and Honduras is getting shafted by the refs again in soccer. It is pretty interesting to note that the 2 best players on Honduras' side this game have been, so far, two guys from the MLS.

What's going on? Only got the game on in the background?

Heard (but didn't see) Senegal had some issues with the officiating before as well but that's just what happens when Clattenburg is given a stage to perform on.

Honduras took the lead, ref started distributing yellows all over the place. One player got two cards in about 2 mins, so they fell to 10. Then, early in the 2nd half, they score to retake the lead 2-1, 2 mins later: bam! a penalty for Brazil. It's been a farce, really.

By the way, the two best players for Honduras play in the MLS.

Hopefully Honduras come back at them, still some time remaining.

On the topic of MLS, does anyone know if NY Red Bulls are related in any way to the old NY/NJ Metrostars or are they separate entities? Just curious. If the teams/orgs are related, interesting to note that Tim Cahill would now be with Timmy Howards old club.

A quick google will tell you that NYRB is the Metros. Just rebranded.
