Also went with Gostisbehere, he is years away obviously, but everything I have read about him points to him being a good player. I would like to see him play for myself first, but I haven't heard anything bad. Solid prospect.
Went noebels cause nobody else will pick stolarz with me
I was actually thinking about voting for Stolarz for back to back prospect goalies. Plus I feel if you feel that long-term if he is as good as they say he could be, he'll be ready when we need him and be successful (I don't often vote on potential especially for goalies, but this time I am).
Was trying to decide between Gostisbehere and Noebels but went with Gostisbehere. People who went to the prospect camp said him and Manning were on other levels compared to the other players (and that included the Dane). Heard he was looking really good until he got hurt. Was also one of the main defenders as a freshman in college. I have a good feeling about him.
Really hard to pick for me between Noebels, Ghost and the Dane, but I went with Oliver simply because I used NHL readiness as my tie breaker. I feel those 3 should be 5 , 6 and 7
I'd say add Leier. He (from the accounts I read and a little of what I saw on the drills and hi-lites packages) looked pretty good at camp for an 18 year old. I also think he may break out this year with increased ice time.
Ghost. He has the highest ceiling of any if the remaining prospects.
I think Stolarz probably has the biggest upside, but is just such a big project. I really couldn't decide who to vote for #5. You can throw a dart at a whole bunch of the guys listed. I went Noebels, but could be talked into about 5 others.
