Strait. Probably followed by Hanowski, then Blueger, then Kuhn. After that, who knows.

Add Sundqvist.

Bortuzzo and Stait not being ranked next to each other would be just plain wrong.

Voted Strait. After this one, I have no clue who I'm going to vote for the rest of the way.

Add Matt Murray. We're going to need a goalie prospect soon.

I looked back at that 06 draft...Boston did really well for themselves.

They drafted Kessel, Lucic, and Marchand

That's the kind of draft that would be a God-send for the Pens. We'd no longer have to worry about who Shero can sign on July 1st to play with Sid and Geno.

That's quite impressive. Chiarelli is a boss

No what is better to do is draft somebody to trade for those kinds of players. Its easier that way.

It would be pretty cool drafting 3 wingers like that though. Three productive wingers in 3 picks. That's a quick way to solve a big problem haha.

These polls are kinda stupid. People vote Bortuzzo and Strait 'cause they are closest to NHL ready. But what's their upside? Not very high, so that's why I vote someone like Blueger, Kühnhackl or Marcantuoni for example and I think I'll vote Blueger.

I think people vastly underrate their upside...particularly Bortuzzo.

I'm going Strait and then Hanowski. If it is true that he is working on his skating he should be a real force with cloud state next season. He lead his team in scoring by 9 points as a 20 year old. He is big at 6.02 210pounds.

for me Strait is a no brainer. Right now he is a NHL ready defenceman at the age of 23. with a few years of development he could become a steady number 4. That is nothing to sneeze at.

They'll trade either one before they end up on waivers. I still think space will be made by trading Lovejoy. I don't believe Despres is a lock for the roster, which would see room for both. That thought process could buy Shero some time to trade one or the other also. Despres doesn't have to be here.
