No Panthers? If they get Lu, they're a playoff team.

Florida and Ottawa round out the eight?

This isn't *IF* a team acquires a certain player, this is on current rosters.
Toronto could be a playoff team if they had Luongo, but since they don't they aren't getting my vote for a while.

Ottawa, despite losing Kuba, much of the rest of the conference got weaker at the same time.

Not sure about Anderson though.

Ott got Methot and Zibanejad will likely make the line up. I think they improved. The only thing missing is more "toughness." Also if Anderson will be able to repeat his performance from last year. Either way I go with Ottawa.

Silfverberg will likely make the team too.

Winnipeg. They got alot better and if the young players continue their improvement...they'll make the playoffs.

I'd love to see the Jets make the playoffs, but I think they could benefit from one more year of top 10 drafting. Since they still lack true center depth long term, they seem to be in the same state most Leaf fans believe they are. Not quite a playoff team, but not a lottery team.

Though putting themselves on the UFA map with more improvemen could be just as beneficial.
