Arnott is rumored to be Vancouver's back-up plan if they don't land Doan.

Huselius is still not medically cleared to play and will not sign until he does.

Also, don't use the 'Rumor' tag unless you have an actual credible rumor to supply, otherwise use a different tag. Thanks!

They are pulling a parise/suter and will all sign with the same team.

Your display picture perfectly represents how I felt about your post... though I wouldn't mind seeing Huselius and Langkow on the same team again.

If the Nucks don't land Doan I suspect Arnott is assuredly in Van.

I think Huselius might have to wait for a tryout. His injury problems might not be resolved in time for him to sign prior to the season.

I am surprised Kostitsyn is still available. I'd take him on the Flyers for $3.5M. I like his size and we lost some scoring in dealin JvR and losing Jagr to free agency.

Langkow doesn't appear to have much left. He's small, been beaten up a lot recently, and doesn't score much. He could be a veteran 3rd line C on a lower tier team.

I bet Arnott has 3 or 4 serious offers on the table, but is waiting to see how things play out with Doan. Most teams would probably take Arnott as their #4 C, but he seems to want 3rd line minutes and money, which many teams can't or won't offer. Vancouver would be good, maybe SJ.

AK is the only guy I hope CHI looks at, but I doubt it. Him and Kane would be good buddies!

Daymond Langkow looked great early in the season. He had eight points in thirteen games and appeared poised for a tremendous bounce back season. His mother passed away in early November and his game fell off of a cliff. He eventually ended up essentially a fourth line center. He's one of my all time favorite players but i think he's done.

I'd heard otherwise with regards to alcohol consumption, and frankly being up at that time of night is probably not a good idea anyways - especially since there were team curfew rules in effect.

I think the widespread reaction to and heavyhanded condemnation of same is definitely one of the more blatant examples of anti-Russian (or Belarusian as the case may be) prejudice of late, but that doesn't let him off the hook entirely.

IMO, the Jets could use one of Langkow or Kostitsyn in their top six. It all depends on what the line up looks like next season and if Bryan Little, who is a natural RW, continues to play C between Ladd and Wheeler.

If we signed Kostitsyn (RW):

Ladd - Little - Wheeler
Kane - Jokinen - Kostitsyn

If we signed Langkow (C):

Kane - Jokinen - Little
Ladd - Langkow - Wheeler

That's sad. I was half thinking he goes to Anaheim to try and bounce back again. That would be pretty great to see him take over as the second line centre there.

If the Jets put Langkow in the top 6, I might die of laughter. There's no way he is in a NHL teams top 6. He should just retire. He's had a good career.

I'm just throwing it out there, a guy who plays with two broken hands, always has something to offer as long as he can lace up a pair of skates, even if it isn't production, someone like that would be perfect on a young team or an overly soft team.
Could maybe work in Edmonton, Vancouver, the Isle or even Montreal.

Edit. Also maybe Winnipeg.

If he has another nhl season in him, which I sincerely doubt, it is as fourth liner center, and no higher.

I wouldn't mind looking at Langkow for the Oilers.

I have officially joined the Arnott band wagon. I wish Buffalo would forget about Doan, forget about Ryan, and just get Arnott. Put him and Ott on the same line and see what happens.
