ok, jounalists made also mistake by saying he SIGNED. Slovan website wrote HE SHOULD SIGN SOON... who knows what is current situation.
Similar situation was with Zuccarello. Magnitogorsk website wrote he signed, he/agent refused it via twitter and norwegian press. After a couple of days Zuccarello said he signed with Magnitogorsk.
Similar case of Hudacek and Slovan. Slovan website wrote before WC he will play KHL for Slovan BUT he signed contract late june. All depends on registration of contract in KHL office IMO and we dont know how it works...
Vondrka in Slovan? Didn't expect that one. I thought he will be in Lev, but his ice time will be higher in Slovan than in Lev.
Anyway Slavia is in big trouble - Jaškin, Vondrka out and if Hertl decides to go to NA...it's gonna be long season for them.
I dont think Hertl is leaving. I could see him doing the same thing as Jaskin in case he hasnt a good 12/13 season, but he wont leave now IMO. He wasnt even drafted to CHL.
Vondrka is ok player, but a second liner at best on a good team. More like a third liner. They probably promised him a top6 role in Slovan, which is good for him. Good luck to him, he could be a solid complementary player on the NT for couple of years if he does well in Slovan.

Who is better 3rd liner in your opinion, Klepis or Vondrka ???
IMO Klepis can be top 6 forward on a good team, at least for a part of season. Not so true in Vondrka case...
I think Vondrka will do well for Slovan. I was very impressed at how well he did coming back to Slavia considering they had pretty much zero offensive talent.
Slovan won 6:5 on penalty shots against Pirati Chomutov earlier in the week, before defeating Spartak Moscow 3:1 tonight in front of nearly 9,000 in Bratislava.
Some very good performances by a couple of borderline NT guys. I've been really impressed by Olvecky so far, especially considering he's playing on a line with the two juniors (Dano + Stastny)

Technically Šťastný is not a junior Also, Hudáček replaced Šťastný after the first period on that line today.

Come on... 21 is young enough!
Yeah, was pleased to finally see Hudáček back after he missed the first two games. Was a bit anonymous though.
Sigalet and Bartovič also played for the first time in pre-season.
I saw on one of the major sport websites that there are still rumours lingering over Pálffy joining Slovan. What is the likelihood of this happening? I know that at the start of the summer it was a bit of a no go, but as the summer continues, maybe he will turn his attention to coming to Slovan? Also no news of Šatan, but his #81 is still free

last news i read in regard of Palffy is, that he has some talks with HC Slovan owner. He said, that KHL is for him big challenge, but he doesn't like the long travel. The conclusion of this was, that he is still considering this option. And now it looks like, that he and Slovan are working on contract details. IMO he will play for Slovan in KHL.
Satan also. I saw him on the poster for pre-season games.

Wow, this is great news. I was planning on trying to watch the KHL more this year (ALOT more if the NHL does lockout) and since I am a Slovak fan internationally, in large part due to Ziggy Palffy (who made me a Kings fan), Slovan will be my favourite team. That would be awesome to Palffy playing for them. Obviously he is no longer the player he once was, but still it would be awesome.

I watched tv show yesterday of Slovan´s coach. He said that Ziggy Palffy will start season in Skalica but he can sign with Slovan during season. We will see.
According to Maros "Taxi driver" Krajci, this friday he will talk to Ziggy about his contract. It seems that Palffy will sign with HC Slovan Bratislava. Also Satan and Jaroslav Janus.
Latest changes in roster involve releasing of Kreps and signing Šatan and Janus. Unfortunately both of them can't play today due to rules of KHL (48 hours time period to register contracts).
