Missing content from Pens' Hockey's Future section

There seem to be a couple things missing from the Penguins' section on Hockey's Future, and I figured this was as good a place as any to mention it.
For reference:
http://www.hockeysfuture.com/teams/pittsburgh_penguins/

Other teams have their top 20 prospects listed in their section, but the Pens' section doesn't.

At first, I figured that wasn't a big deal - with the changeover to the new site format, the top 20 didn't make it over, but I ought to be able to dig up the article posted on it. That's when I ran into the other interesting glitch: the Penguins' news article archive doesn't have any content from between April 29th, 2012 and July 22nd, 2000.

It was a little weird going from "Pittsburgh Penguins boast deep and talented group of NCAA prospects" to "Wheeling hires Alain Lemieux".

As a side note, two articles below that was "Pittsburgh Penguins 2000 Draft Review", which makes for some interesting reading, given the benefit of hindsight. Or, at least, it might have been if all the draft profiles between the first pick and the last pick hadn't been missing...

When the archive function failed me, I tried using the search function. That directed me to: http://legacy.hockeysfuture.com/teams/24
Which gives me the following message:
Quote:
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Our website is currently under maintenance.
We will be back shortly.
Things have actually been like this for a while, so the "We will be back shortly" feels more like a geological "shortly" than an internet "shortly"

If you don't think the hiring of Alain Lemieux 12 years ago isn't still newsworthy then I don't know what to tell ya buddy.

Anyway, back on topic, you're right OP. I've been checking the site every few days to see if they updated it and it's disappointing they still haven't. I'm sure they'll fix it before the season starts though.

I remember when the organizational strengths and weaknesses went without being updated for about three years.

Well, this isn't so much about them updating as it is about previously existing content having disappeared! That's really the thing that bothers me.

The point is, I don't come to expect much out of the HF site.

It's Shero's fault. He's been ignoring our missing content needs all summer long.

I blame Crosby.

Actually it's a good thing you guys find these problems. As a mod I don't have any connection with the other site but check the bottom of the page. See if there's a contact email or something like that where you can report errors / jurassic information and the like.

Send those same OP-like comments directly to the webmaster (or whoever is linked for problem issues) and maybe some of it will get fixed / updated.

I knew the other site existed but I wasn't certain they were "attached" to this one.

As bad as it sounds, this describes me as well.

"Website? It's a frickin' chat forum."
