The Rangers must add a good goalie prospect or two in the next year or two. Maybe this is where all these third round picks next year would come into play.

Hrivik. I only saw one game of his, but I'm relying on what the organization has said about him, as well as firsthand accounts from people like Jarkko.

I'm just not impressed with McColgan. I understand he hasn't had great talent to play with, but where is the progression?

I'm not sure I get all the love/hype for Hrivik. Yeah he had a great stretch in the playoffs, but he's never really put up impressive numbers for long stretches of time. I mean he was undrafted for a reason. And I'm just basing this off stats, so I'm probably completely wrong.

Calle Andersson. From all accounts, he seems to have the tools to be a powerplay specialist at the NHL level, but needs work on his defensive game. I think he has the most upside from the remaining players on the list.

Add Ceresnak. He has legit NHL size & had the 2nd best +/- rating at -1 on a mediocre junior team (after Andre Yogan).

Dan Girardi was un drafted.

A player that wasn't drafted can't turn out to be a good player?

Eh, McColgan was a fifth round pick himself. There's not necessarily a tremendous difference between that and going undrafted.

For every Dan Girardi there is a thousand undrafted players that never amount to anything. Girardi is the exception, not the rule.

Again, never said he can't become a good player. Just don't think its likely based off the fact he's never put up numbers consistently except for 9 games in the playoffs. Hopefully I'm wrong.
